🌟 Long post alert! 🌟
October 2023... What a month!
After spending several months as a part-time virtual assistant to my Friend, Mentor, and Business Partner, the incredible Julie Lebrun - Virtual Assistant I decided to take a leap of faith and embark on a new journey. I officially launched my own business,LL-Assistance Virtu-ELLES. Julie, I couldn’t have done it without your drive to see me succeed, I'm so grateful to have you in my life!
To be honest, I didn't have many expectations; I considered it a 'soft launch' and had backup plans in case things didn't go as planned. But guess what? Within just one week and a half of my launch, I was fully booked, and I even hired a part-time VA to be able to serve more clients! I'm incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to put into practice what I know best, which is admin and socials, and to do what I love most - helping others! Thank you to my clients for their trust in me and my team!
On a more personal note, this past month, my two-and-a-half-year-old son started daycare for the first time. I can't decide who is finding it harder to adjust,him or me 🤣. As difficult as it is not having him with me all the time, it's heartwarming to witness his growth and see him making friends.
In October, I also stepped out of my comfort zone and attended my very first networking event. For an introvert like me, that's a big deal! The event was organized by the Happy Hour Club - Halifax and it brought together women from all walks of life, not just in the business realm. I was privileged to meet and connect with some wonderful and inspiring women. A heartfelt shout-out to Courtney Wilson for making these events come to life and spreading so much positivity in our community. I'm eagerly looking forward to the next one!
And to add a touch of enchantment, October also gifted us with the first snowfall of the year. There's something magical about that first white snow, offering a sence of a fresh start and a sense of peace.
October 2023 was a month of growth, accomplishment, and pushing my own limits. I can't wait to see what November has in store.
