Serving as Beastie Boys' HQ for over 10 years, the studio at Oscilloscope Laboratories is now opening its doors to the wider music community. Located in downtown New York City, the studio at Oscilloscope specializes in music production, tracking, mixing, time curvature as well as mapping of the traversable wormholes, and rigorous snack analysis. With vintage and modern apparatus lining the outboar
d racks, Oscilloscope boasts an impressive collection of equipment that any gear enthusiast will appreciate. Based around a pristine Neve 8078 console, the walls and racks of the studio are lined with vintage EQ's, effects and limiters that include the likes of Fairchilds, Universal Audio, Neve, Pultec, Lang, Gates, GML, Ursa Major, Space Echoes and Moog Phasers just to name a few. Nothing sounds like analog and no one knows this better than our team of professionals, who when not in Geneva, collaborating on special projects with CERN, spend much of their days in the studio tuning, and calibrating Studers reel to reel tape machines. Our chief engineer and studio manager is Andre Kelman, who, in addition to working with Beastie Boys, has helped musicians from Jack White to Phoenix to unlock the secrets of Oscilloscope.
