Thank you to our Veterans! We appreciate all you do and the sacrifices you make. Thank you for your service! It was a busy Service Sunday! We packed hygiene kits and made pillow cases for those on active duty for . We also made blankets for . Thank you to the Burleson NCL chapter for inviting me to share my CSI “Take 5 and Arrive Alive” with your class of 2028! I hope you each learned something that can help keep you safe on the road!

Annette and I have a little contest, and I’m confident my TEENS can take this one! So many categories to enter! Entries will be accepted between now and Sunday, November 10 at midnight. Proceeds benefit the Lone Star Education Foundation (Miss Texas scholarships) and a percentage of the money raised will support Cody’s Friends Rescue, an all breed dog rescue that is dedicated to saving dogs who have been abandoned, abused and neglected. November 1st has been a HUGE day that will predict my future! Today I submitted all of my Early Action College Applications AND my Miss America’s Teen Official Paperwork!! It’s awesome how these two events are intertwined! Scholarship plays a huge role in the Miss America Opportunity, and College Applications are the first step to the ultimate goal of a College Education. I’m excited to see what my future holds. It’s been an amazing year so far! Two months until Orlando!

Even if you are a teenager and don’t have a drivers license yet, you can help alleviate distracted driving! Help out the driver by adjusting music, following the map, and even answering their phone.

Sunday was such a fun day! I was able to crown the new Carissa Rowland! This title holds a special place in my heart, as it was my very first title in the ! Congrats also to my friend Kherrington Lyda! I was SO surprised to see two of my precious Texas Lone Stars and ! I LOVED seeing my amazing sister queens , , and .tx! I cant thank my directors enough! and ! And a special thank you to for such an amazing gift! I cant wait to watch all of the new titleholders this year!

With our lives so scheduled and busy, it’s easy to be in a hurry everywhere we go. Especially when you think about curfews and tardy bells. But it’s best to take it slow and don’t speed. Also, inform those waiting on you that you may be late! Arriving alive is most important.

So honored to be a part of annual fundraising gala! I have been volunteering with this organization for 12 years! runs the organization that hosts the largest Christmas Event for the homeless in the country. She is such an amazing lady! It was an honor to once again volunteer with this organization! Sign up to volunteer this year the Saturday before Christmas at the Dallas Convention Center.

About last night….this is going to take more than one post! I loved being able to see so many friends compete on the stage at ! Colleyville is my hometown, and it was awesome to see all the support from the local community! Congrats to and on a great year of service, and congratulations to our newest title holders Emma, Kenady, Austin and Kennedy! I can’t wait to follow your year!
