Sea of Galilee in Tabgha.

Peter's faith or fear.
Matthew 14:22-33

Walking on water without Jesus is impossible for men.
Fear will sink you or Faith will rise you.

I do have fears.
Jesus said "Take courage, do not be afraid...come!"

We can choose to worry and not take a step.
We can choose to come and have faith.

CHRISTMAS MESSAGE:

A small cathedral outside Bethlehem marks the supposed birthplace of Jesus. Behind a high altar in the church is a cave, a little cavern lit by silver lamps. You can enter the main edifice and admire the ancient church. You can also enter the quiet cave, where a star embedded in the floor recognizes the birth of the King. There is one stipulation, however – you have to stoop. The door is so low you can’t enter standing up.
The same is true of Christ. You can see the world standing tall, but to witness the Savior, you have to get on your knees. So at the birth of Jesus, while the theologians were sleeping and the elite were dreaming and the successful were snoring, the meek were kneeling. They were kneeling before the One only the meek will see. They were kneeling in front of Jesus.

The Entrance to the Garden of Eden
Machpelah, Hebron

This is a legend in the Jewish religion that when one dies, one's soul must pass through the lower Gan Eden in order to reach the higher Gan Eden. The way to the garden is the Cave of Machpelah that Adam guards. The cave leads to the gate of the garden, guarded by a cherub with a flaming sword. If a soul is unworthy of entering, the sword annihilates it. Within the garden is a pillar of fire and smoke that extends to the higher Gan Eden, which the soul must climb in order to reach the higher Gan Eden.

Apostle Peter's Grave

One of the disciples of Jesus Christ also known as Simon, one of his inner circle. Famous for the story in the Bible who denied Jesus three times, who walked on water with Jesus at the sea of Galilee, who was boldly preaching the gospel and became one of the first leader of the early church.
His tomb is located in the depths of St. Peter's Basilica in an area called the Vatican Necropolis. It is believed that after the death of Peter, he was buried on Vatican Hill, close to the site of his martyrdom.
