Suuuper late Halloween appreciation post!! I had such a great time opening 2hr set at .portal with a huge thanks to & for having me out!! Great hosts, legendary party, gorgeous crowd, energy, great music all night. hypnotic performances by .ent.vancity with some guest appearances by my fav iconic queens & !!! ☀️ Happy Summer Solstice ☀️ This year has been so good to me so far!! Gardening, beach fires, lake jumps, market season, and now with dance parties coming back everything is coming together so perfectly. Just played my first DJ set in over a year for a bunch of lovely dancing humans & it inspired me beyond words. I hope everyone is having a good year so far and that all your summer dreams are coming true! If anyone from out of town wants to visit the city HMU since I am able to host friends! This artwork is untitled. The original illustration was created in the jungles of Costa Rica & digitally modified at a later date. This series reflects the vibrant aliveness from the plant and insect realms. It works similar to the roshak ink blots in which the art speaks to individuals and everyone can see a unique reflection of their own subconscious.
