𝐃𝐫 𝐘𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰

Dr. Noah Kekere was born on November 15, 1975, in a small metropolis city in Nigeria. He grew up in a modest own circle of relatives.

He was reportedly said to have bagged a degree in medicine and surgery from the prestigious University of Ibadan, Oyo State. This was later said to be false.

On Wednesday 6th, September 2023, the husband of Kehinde Busari Kamal reported Noah Kekere of Murna Clinic and Maternity located at Yanshanu Community of Jos North to the Nasarawa Gwong Police Division, accusing him of removing his wife’s kidney during an operation in 2018.

According to residents of Jos, the accused doctor popularly known as ‘Yellow’ had been in the community for more than 25 years, operating as a doctor, adding that hundreds of patients used to troop to the hospital for medical attention because he charged less compared to other medical centres, and that he could perform an operation on credit.

The event leading up to such allegations started sometime in January 2018 when the victim, Mrs Kehinde Kamal, a 45-year-old mother of four, from the Rikkos community of Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State, experienced a health challenge which affected her stomach when she consulted Kereke for a solution to her condition. Upon evaluation, Kekere told the woman that she had appendicitis.

Subsequently, Kekere reportedly performed an operation on Mrs Kehinde Busari charging a fee of ₦80,000 . Six months after the operation, she started experiencing a stomach upset which the pain relief medicines and injections Kekere prescribed could not resolve. Unable to bear the incessant pains, she approached the University of Jos Teaching Hospital for a comprehensive understanding of the problem. After taking a scan, the doctor revealed to her that one of her kidneys was missing.

Mrs Kehinde said when the result of the scanning issued by JUTH showed that her kidney was removed, and it was shown to him, Dr Kekere denied anything to do with it and the police ordered that another scan be conducted at Fertile Ground Hospital in Jos South where the result also showed that a kidney was removed. Further investigations were carried out and it was discovered that under the guise of performing an appendectomy, Kereke harvested one of Busari’s kidneys.

Subsequently, he was incarcerated by the Plateau State Police Command.

Following Kekere's arrest, Mrs Kehinde Busari Kamal,the victim said she had never in her lifetime been admitted in a hospital or underwent surgery until 2018 when she was first operated on by Dr Kekere and that she gave birth to all her four children in the Jos University Teaching Hospital and never had any record of surgery.

When asked what she wanted, she said she wants Dr Kekere to pay the price of what he has committed and that she will never forgive him. She further said that the law should be allowed to takes its course.

Also, the husband to the woman whose kidney was allegedly removed, Mr Busari Kamal, revealed that he was offered millions of naira to close the case but he rejected it. On interview, he said, I have never seen a sincere police officer like the DPO of Nasarawa Gown Division who stood by the truth and rejected bribe. Mr Kamal revealed that he was also offered bribe of millions of naira at the detriment of his wife but hebtold them that he will not collect the money to close the case.

Prior to his arrest for harvesting a woman's kidney for black market sales and profiteering, Kekere was a respectable member of society with speaking engagements in churches and had a visa that allows him travel abroad. He had a degree in economics, but never studied medicine.These revelations have attracted the attention of relevant authorities to investigate the story.

The latest development in the case is a release by the state’s branch of the Nigerian Medical Association describing Kekere as a ‘quack doctor’. The Chairman of the Plateau state chapter of NMA, Dr Bapigaan Williams Audu, said upon investigation that Noah Kekere is neither a medical doctor nor a member of the association. NMA’s statement issued read in part; “...This is to inform the general public and all concerned that Mr. Noah Kekere, who is currently being investigated over allegations of organ harvesting is not a medical doctor." How he was able to infiltrate the medical profession and performing surgery for over two decades, is all but anyone's guess.
A recent update following his arrest confirmed that Noah Kekere, the doctor arrested for alleged organ harvest, has run mad in police custody. An eyewitness at the Nasarawa Gown police division in Plateau State confirmed the incident at the scenario and said Kekere was immediately rushed to the Jos University Teaching Hospital(JUTH) where he began to scream and tear his clothes like a madman.

This controversial issue of Organ Harvesting has sparked an outrage on social media platforms, were his named trended on for over two days. Private investigative journalists have taken the matter up and have dug old footages of Kekere, standing on a podium in one of the branches of the renowned Redeemed Christain Church Of God(RCCG). This ignited the contempt that was growing for the accused, as it was paradoxically unbelievable to juxtapose a Preacher of the Gospel and an alleged Organ Harvester together in the same individual.
Investigations are still ongoing and is yet to be stated whether or not the accused, Noah Kekere would be arraigned in court.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫: 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐎𝐤𝐨𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐟𝐨𝐫

Pastor Chidiebere Okoroafor who hails from Arochukwu in Abia State, was born in 1991. He is the senior pastor and general overseer of the Altar of Solution and Healing Ministries, Oyigbo, Rivers State, Nigeria.

Rivers state is in the South-South geopolitical zone of Nigeria. Rivers is a core state in the Niger Delta region and also one of the major oil producing states in Nigeria. It has an estimated population that is above 7,000,000 people. It's capital city is Port-Harcourt which was a major trading post during the colonial era.

On the 11th of December 2017, Miss Orlunma Nwagba who was the choir mistress of Pastor Okoroafor's church visited Pastor Okoroafor for a discussion over an alleged pregnancy of which the said pastor was responsible. She went in company of her friend, Mrs Chigozie Ezenwa who was with her 11-month old baby, Cresabel.

In a bid to hide this scandal from members of his church and the general public, Pastor Okoroafor tricked them to go out with him and in the process he killed the 25-year old choir mistress who was said to be five months pregnant in a nearby bush. He also killed Mrs Chigozie Ezenwa in an uncompleted building by strangling her to death. He also did not spare the life of Mrs. Ezenwa's 11-month baby. Their murders took place in two different locations in Oyigbo

On the 17th of December, 2017, Pastor Okoroafor was arrested for the murder of his choir mistress, Miss Orlunma Nwagba whom he impregnated, her friend, Chigozie Ezenwa and her 11-month old baby, Cresabel. He was arrested after a police investigation was conducted by men of the Rivers State Police Command, following an alarm raised by Chigozie's husband.

In June 2023, following evidences given and confessional statements made by Pastor Okoroafor which proved he committed the murder, the High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State through a judgement delivered by Justice S O Benson, found him guilty of the murder of three persons which included Miss Olunma Nwagba, Mrs Chigozie Ezenwa and her baby, Cresabel Ezenwa. He was sentenced to death either by hanging or by a lethal injection.

𝐎𝐭𝐨𝐤𝐨𝐭𝐨 𝐑𝐢𝐨𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝟏𝟗𝟗𝟔: 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫

An incident occured that sent the entire city of Owerri into a frenzy about 26 years ago. Owerri is the heart and capital city of Imo State in Nigeria. It is known as the largest city in Imo state with a lot of business and commercial activities. Apart from the fact that Owerri is a fast developing city, it's inhabitants are very resourceful.

This incident was the greusome killing of an 11 year old peanut seller called Ikechukwu Okoronkwo. This incident happened during the regime of late General Sani Abacha. Prior to this appalling occurrence, Owerri was a dreadful place to be because of the incessant killings that overwhelmed the city.

The people of Owerri were already mad at the bizarre actions of some loud, extremely powerful and obscenely wealthy individuals in the state. These people were highly-connected and oppressed everyone where they went. Rumours were all over the place as to their very dark dealings and even the possibility of ritual murders and killings, but no one really had any hard evidence yet or probably those who had it were too jittery to say anything. This instilled an atmosphere of terror and fear on the Owerri populace. When people heard of what happened inside the hotel to the boy, they became angry and full of resentment that had been piling up for years. For two straight days, the people of Owerri trooped out in their thousands, protesting and rioting.

The unfortunate incident happened on the 19th of September, 1996, on a gloomy Thursday afternoon. The victim, Ikechukwu, went out on his daily routine of hawking boiled peanuts around the busy streets of Owerri. In his infantile innocence, the little boy balanced a tray of his merchandise on his head, calling onto passers-by to purchase. He did so until he got to Amakokia area of Owerri, where he was called upon by the unsuspected killer who was later identified as Innocent Ekeanyanwu.

The victim, Ikechukwu, was beckoned by Ekeanyanwu into the "Otokoto Hotel", a famous hotel known for its ostentatious glare and affluent patrons. The victims eyes lit up at the sight of the humongous building as thoughts of living in one fleeted through his mind. Judging from the building's exterior, he believed the killer would buy most if not all of his peanut. He sauntered down the lobby, giving off a boyish smile as he followed the killer into the reception where he was offered a chilled bottle of coke to drink while he waited. Little did he know that this would be the last time the sun would shine on his face. The victim opened the bottle and emptied its content into his mouth with relish. For someone of his status, this was a luxury and more than a dream come true; sitting in a soft cushion in a hotel reception, while the air conditioned wafted cold air on his skin, relieving him from the scorching sun outside. He savoured the moment and wondered how nice this unusually receptive customer was to have treated him with such kindness and in such excitement, he must have considered adding an extra cup or two to the peanuts he would buy, just to show his appreciation. As he thought of this, his vision became blurry and the sounds around him became muzzled and dull. The killer was all along observing him from a distance on a chair, waiting for the effect of the spiked drink to take its course.

In no little time, the victim fell asleep and the killer began to put his intentions into practice. The killer carried the limp body of the boy into one of the hotel rooms, and in a matter of minutes, the sharp blade of a cutlass severed the young boy's head from his body, leaving a lifeless torso and legs. The killer then proceeded to disembowel him. First, it was his lungs, then his kidney, followed by other essential organs including his ge****ls. He sorted out the organs, then put the gory head in a polythene bag, before digging a shallow grave where he buried the mangled remains of the the young lad. Ekeanyanwu then took the polythene bag containing the head and headed for the next destination. Admist all these was a tender mother and father who was oblivious that their beloved son has met a horrendious fate.

Ekeanyanwu, who ironically bore "Innocent" as a first name, stealthily took the polythene out of the hotel, avoiding the glances of customers who might wonder what he held. Ekeanyanwu called a motorcyclist who was later identified as Okpara. He described his point of destination to him; the residence of a highly-influential figure named Chief Leonard Unaogu at Eziama, Ikeduru Local Council Area. The bike man consented and the killer hoisted himself and sat astride on the bike, and they began to move. On interrogation, the bikeman, Okpara, stated that he realized that what his passenger was carrying inside the polythene bag was actually a fresh human head because it was still dripping with blood. This was why he had to notify the police once Enkeanyanwu alighted the bike.

Upon arriving at the destination, Ekeanyanwu was told that Chief Leonard was not in town as he had earlier on travelled to lagos. Disheartened by the news, the killer had no option other than to return to Owerri with the head still tucked nicely in the polythene bag. On his way back, he was intercepted by the police who then took him into their custody for interrogation. He was catechized by the police for some hours, meanwhile the head of the young lad was taking away to the mortuary.

The displeasing news of the killing spread wide like wild fire on a harmattan morning, and within hours, Owerri residents trooped out like locusts in the rainy season. They assembled around the morgue, the police station and the hotel premises where the incident happened. Suspicion was already thick in the air and anyone could smell the tension, but they kept watch, waiting for the police to confirm that it was indeed a ritual killing. It was in this midst of this tension that the local media station made a huge gaffe. On the 24th of September, there was a live broadcast which showed the image of Innocent Ekeanyanwu, the killer, holding the head of his victim. The goal of this was to assuage the seed of fear already planted in the people's mind, to assure the people while asking the public to help identify the boy all in a bid to show official transparency. But, what followed thereafter was a catastrophe. The residents of Owerri went on a rampage, both emotionally and physically. The killing was no longer an open secret. It was a breaking news and every home had either heard of the killing or had seen the gory image of Okoronkwo's head.

Following the confessions made by Ekeanyanwu, some reports came alleging that these ritual killlings at the Otokoto hotel has been ongoing as far back as 1976. Innocent guests and unsuspecting travellers who lodged at the hotel were drugged or attacked in the middle of their sleep and hacked to death after which they were cut into pieces for sale. Before the riot, Police officers who swooped upon the hotel discovered not only the shallow grave containing that of the little boy but also graves containing other victims with their decomposing and dismembered corpses. No one knows the exact number of bodies exhumed at Otokoto Hotel, with figures varying from eight to two dozen. Some were buried at inconspicuous locations such as under the flowerbeds. Angry residents trooped out in mass and congregated at the town's central market were strategies and decisions were given on how to deal with the "Otokoto headhunters", who they were now famously called.

Unemployed and disgruntled youths took over the parks and issued threats to the Owerri millionaires. For many days, angry residents of Owerri trooped to the streets in what became known as the Otokoto Riots. Houses, hotels, supermarkets, and vehicles suspected to belong to the suspects and those suspected to belong to fraudsters or people of shady characters were burnt. It was a brawl between the elite and the oppressed.

Innocent Ekeanyanwu was put in a cell after his confession; he was found motionless after some days and later pronounced dead. The post-mortem that was done on the body proved that Ekeanywanwu was poisoned.

After Innocent Ekeanyanwu was arrested, a Black Scorpion member known as Vincent Duru and Chief Leonard Unaogu were arrested. Seven other suspects were arrested as they were all indicted by the confession made by Ekeanyanwu regarding Okoronkwo's murder. Ekeanyanwu named Chief Leonard Unoagu as the mastermind behind this gruesome murder and several other killings they had carried out before. Unaogu and Duru denied that they had any tie or knew each other but their claim was not justifiable. Thus, a trial commenced on the 9th of December, 1996. The verdict given by the judge in 2003 was a death penalty which was given six years after the murder of Okoronkwo. They were finally executed in November 2016, approximately 20 years after their arrest and 13 years after the death penalty verdict was issued. Two other suspects; Alban Ajaegbu and Ebenezer Egwueke were cleared of the charges as having no part in Okoronkwo's gruesome murder.

Chief Leonard Unaogu died in prison under strange circumstances. Another member of the Black Scorpion by the name of Obicheozor was arrested, charged to court and sentenced to death by firing squad. Obicheozor was the son of Vincent Duru. Ebenezer Egwueke was one of the two suspects who were acquitted, as evidence did not show any involvement on his part, nor did he have an idea of the murder. He was 62 years old at the time the case was discharged and he was released in 2013.

It is always good to know that the fight against crime is winning, especially when an ex-inmate goes through rehabilitation and changes for good while incarcerated;

This is the story of how Shina Rambo turned a new leaf while imprisoned and ended up becoming a preacher of the gospel. Shina Rambo is believed to have slept with his own mother and pounded babies to death during his reign as the most wanted criminal in the South-Western part of Nigeria in the 1990s. As a matter of fact, the mention of the name Shina Rambo still sends fear down the spine of Nigerians because he is well known by all and sundry as a hardened and ruthless armed robber who terrorized parts of Nigeria.

𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞
Shina Rambo who hails from Abeokuta in Ogun State was born in 1958; he grew up in Benin City and was raised in a polygamous background were little attention was given to the children. Shina’s father was a polygamous military officer who had 18 wives. His father, who had easy access to weapons, taught him how to dismantle and assemble weapons at a young age. Despite his status as a military office, Shina’s father was corrupt and also involved in robbery and crime because of his access to weapons. This made it easy for Shina to come in contact with weapons, drugs and eventually embrace the path of crime at a very young age. At a point, Shina had a wife and three children but they were killed on the same day by police who raided his home in his absence.

𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲
Shina committed a lot of heinous crimes, with the police as his major target. The law enforcement officers and police were scared of him because of the way he carried out his attacks; he would attack police stations and kill every police officer that was present at the station. He also attacked check points and killed the police officers on duty. He was truly lawless as he operated freely both during the day and at night but he carried out attacks more during the day when his wife and children were alive.

Despite the fact that it was never proven, Shina is alleged to have committed cross-border crimes, operating between Nigeria and the Republic of Benin; he robbed 40 cars in a day within Nigeria and drove all the cars in a convoy from Lagos to Cotonou without being stopped. What he did with the cars remain unknown. He was very rich and operated in a “Robin Hood” like manner by giving out money to people, mainly to evade arrest whenever he was about to be apprehended. He is believed to have spent Fifty Million Naira (N50, 000,000.00) in a day.

𝐎𝐜𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐬
Shina Rambo was involved in so many rituals for the purpose of evading the police, protection against bullets and staying alive. He underwent spiritual journeys for fortification and to remain powerful. He could change his form at anytime without being detected and this culminated in the killing of innocent people who the police mistook as Shina. Using a pestle, he pounded 27 new born babies in a mortar, slept with his biological mother, killed 100 men and gave their heads to herbalists, all to make him invincible and powerful. Shina eventually killed the 9 herbalists who gave him the power to be invincible and powerful because he became stronger than them, and he did not want the secret of his powers to be divulged. Shina is believed to have had a spiritual wife who drove him spiritually after he had committed a crime and was being pursued by the police.

𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
After a long spell as an outlaw, Shina surrendered himself to the police. He was found guilty and sentenced to prison where he served 11 years at the Agodi Prison, Ibadan. Shina Rambo was released from prison during President Olusegun Obasanjo’s regime, after he embraced Christ and turned a new leaf. Shina will forever remain in history as one of Nigeria’s most notorious criminals. Other criminals in Nigeria revere Shina as their role model; some adopted the name ”Shina Rambo” as their pseudonym out of respect for him but the main Shina Rambo, who now goes by the name ”Mathew Oluwanifemi,” still stands out as the King of Terror.

The case of Clifford Orji, who is arguably Nigeria's greatest cannibal still remains a mystery;

Clifford Nwa Adebayo Orji was born between 1965. He was an Igbo man who hailed from Enugu State in the Southeastern region of Nigeria. He lived in Lagos State within the Southwestern region of Nigeria. Initially, Clifford was into the sales of razor-blades at the bustling Oshodi market, until he later proclaimed himself as a shaman and traditional doctor (native doctor).

Orji lived under a bridge at the Oshodi-Isolo Expressway in Lagos which later became known as 'Clifford's kitchen'. He would pretend to be insane and mentally unstable, so as to dissuade people from coming close to him.

On the 3rd of February, 1999, Orji was arrested alongside his accomplice, Tahiru Aliyu, for murder related offences, kidnappings, sales of human body parts and cannibalism. He was arrested after the shrilled cries of Awawu; a gaunt,emaciated and shackled woman from Agege, who was waiting to be slaughtered gave him away. Her cries attracted passers-by who not only discovered the frail-looking woman but also stumbled on various human body parts in Orji's bridge home such as human skulls, other human bones, legs, hands and freshly cooked soup with human meat.

The bewilderment and heated uproar from the shocking and unbelievable discovery, drew the attention of the police's 'Operation Sweep' team, who arrested Orji after his failed attempt to escape. He was taken to the nearby Makinde Police Station in Oshodi. The frail-looking woman who he had prepared to be slaughtered after subjecting her to sexual assault for several days was set free and taken to a hospital in Ikeja, the state's capital for treatment.

Upon investigation,after the arrest of Orji and his accomplice, Tahiru, the Police found out that Orji and his friend were not just human meat eaters or cannibals, they were also dealers in human body parts sales, as money, bank cheques, GSM phones were said to have been recovered from the make-shift home at the popular Toyota Bus Stop on the Oshodi-Isolo Expressway.

Some people who were at the scene of the event believed that Orji was sane and had knowledge of what he was doing while others held a contrary view that he was mentally ill, as a sane man would not eat human meat.

Chuks Igbokwe, one of the person's interviewed said that he did not believe that Clifford Orji was mad, he believed Clifford was one of those ritual murderers who engages in trading of human parts.

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Sunday Aghedo, described the two men as human eaters. On display beside them were roasted parts of human beings ; heads, legs, hands and the abdomen. One severed head wore a permed hair of a lady identified as "Eno", a trader from Akwa Ibom State.

At a news conference organized by the police, Orji confessed to the media men that he and Tahiru his accomplice, were human meat eaters. He said they had killed more than three people, especially young girls who hawked their wares. He further confessed that they lured their victims to their enclave under the pretence that they wanted to purchase their wares. He said, "once they were within our reach, we pounced on them and killed them for eatable meat". He further confessed that Tahiru was the human hunter while he was the butcher and that they usually preferred and hunted girls with permed hair.

A journalist asked Orji why he had taken to human meat eating and if he was unable to afford animal meat. Orji replied him saying that he had been eating human meat for the past seven years even before his arrival in Lagos. He added that it was part of his culture to eat human meat.
Orji was asked again, if he was set free would he still be eating human meat and he replied, "yes", that to him there was no difference between human and goat meat.

The Commissioner of Police, Mr Sunday Aghedo said that the lack of remorse by the cannibals is making the police doubt the mental state of the men. He added that they may be victims of psychic and spiritual problems and that before prosecution, the police would have to send them to a psychiatric home for medical examination as to whether or not they were mentally ill.

On the 7th of December 2000, Clifford Orji was arraigned before the Magistrate Court at Ebutte-Meta in Lagos State and was subsequently remanded at the Kirikiri Maximum Prison. While awaiting trial in prison, he suffered from psychosis and eventually died or natural causes on the 17th of August, 2012.

Cannibalism is considered fe**sh and a taboo in Lagos and other parts of Nigeria, but in some parts of Nigeria, especially the southern states of Cross River, human meat eating is not strange and it's a practice among certain ethnicities. There have been reports of food vendors along those parts selling human meat as animal meat to unsuspecting hungry travellers.

This implies that Clifford Orji and Tahiru Aliyu were linked and backed by people who were highly placed considering the fact that GSM phones were found in their place of abode at at a time the use of cell phones in Nigeria was a luxury and not easy to come by.

Ile Ife or Ife as commonly known is an ancient Yoruba city in the South-Western part of Nigeria. It is the oldest Yoruba city with a population of about 500,000 people.

Prince Dr Rahmon Adodeyin was born on the first day of January, 1957. He was born into the royal family of the Akui ruling house in the ancient city of Ife in Osun State, Nigeria. He is a well respected educationist and also an astute businessman. He is the founder of Oduduwa University and The Polytechnic, both in Ile-Ife, Osun State, and also the founder of Hilton Hotels in Ife, Osun State. He is a fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Industrial Statisticians.

Dr Rahmon Adedoyin and six of his staff were arrested for their involvement in the murder of Timothy Adegoke at the Hilton Hotel in November, 2021;

Timothy Adegoke was a postgraduate student of the Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU, Ile-Ife who was murdered in November 2021. Adegoke was an Abuja-based Chartered Accountant who was studying for his master’s degree. He travelled to Ile-Ife on November 5, 2021, to write his MBA exams at the OAU Moro Distance Learning Centre. He was declared missing on November 7, 2021 after lodging into the hotel on November 5th 2021. Later, his body was found in a shallow grave at a location very close to Hilton Hotel and Resorts, where he had been accommodated.

During the course of the proceeding, an undergraduate of the Obafemi Awolowo University and a receptionist at the Hilton Hotels Ile-Ife, Magdalene Chiefuna, testified that she discovered Adegoke’s lifeless body lying on the floor and wrapped in a duvet when she took over her duties on November 6, 2021. Roheem Adedoyin a son to Raymond Adedoyin, the owner of the hotel, summoned her and other hotel workers on duty and conducted an oath of confidentiality on them using the holy bible. They were to keep mute about the dead body to save the reputation of the hotel. She said she was also asked to delete the photographs of the record book that she had taken during her duty on that day from her phone.

Adesola Adedeji, one of the receptionists who was on duty on the night Timothy Adegoke died, also revealed other attempts to cover up his death. In her testimony, she told the High Court in Osogbo, Osun State, that Adegoke was lodged in Room 305 after she had received accommodation payment from him. Adedeji also said that after Adegoke died, she was called to a meeting by Roheem Adedoyin, the managing director of the hotel, and was instructed to fabricate another receipt which would not reflect the name of the late student.

A major breakthrough in the case was the fact that Adegoke had slept at Hilton hotel at Ife in the past as previous receipts issued to him helped the wife to know the name of the hotel, after she did not hear from her husband for some days. So, receipts were very helpful in the investigation.

It was also revealed that despite owning a prestigious university and a palatial hotel, the Prince Rahmon Adegoke was secretly involved in heinous crimes and a series of ritual killings. He allegedly snuffed out the lives of unsuspecting customers and buried them in shallow graves. His son and staff were also recruited as accomplices in these dastardly acts. However, the post-mortem conducted on Adegoke’s body did not show that any vital organ or part of his body was removed. It makes one wonder what could have been the reason behind the murder of Timothy Adegoke.

After a lengthy trial into Adegoke’s death with compelling evidence pointing to Adedoyin's guilt, the Osun State Chief Judge,Justice Oyebola Ojo On the 30th of May 2023, found him guilty of murder and sentenced him to die by hanging.

The sentence has come as a surprise to many who believed that as a prominent and influential socialite, Adedoyin would not be held down by the clutches of the law. But what remains to be known is the reason why Adegoke was murdered. The murder of Adegoke seems like a different kind of ritual sacrifice that is done by some rich, wealthy, powerful and famous people for the purpose of either sustaining their wealth/power or staying alive.

Though, a tragic story, the court's verdict sends a strong message that no one, regardless of their status or wealth, is above the law. Irrespective of any qualification, justice would be served and manifestly seen to be done.
