Our Story

The Declaration is a biweekly newsmagazine that features a wide scope of writing and artwork from UVA undergraduates. It is composed primarily of global and local news stories, Charlottesville art and culture, student opinions, and creative writing pieces. Often humor-based and irreverent, the Dec is a publication that strives to inform, provoke, satirize, and entertain. Our door's always open: our staff meets Tuesdays at 7:30pm in the Media Center on the Third Floor of Clemons Library.
