The Blast & Dash is an equal parts Obstacle Race and 2-Gun match. And we're serious about our obstacles.

Along the 5k race course you'll encounter several walls at 4 foot, 6 foot and 8 foot tall.

Safety note: There are tables and racks to safely stow your gear & rifle if you don't want to climb with them.

We are proud to welcome back Vortex Optics as the title sponsor of the 2024 Big Ben Blast & Dash!

Our 5k Run & Gun Obstacle Race started off in 2018 with an idea to add a fun match to the schedule and has grown in participation, volunteerism and obstacles each time we've held it. Vortex has been with us from the beginning providing prizes for competitors, apparel for staff and expert organizational advice along the way.

We have always tried to live up to Vortex's motto of creating a rare experience for our competitors.

This year the match sold out in less than 36 hours and we currently have a deep waiting list in the event someone chickens out. Planning has been underway for months and we're pumped to share new stages, new obstacles and a new race course with the brave souls that have stepped up to take the challenge.
