We did it, everyone! Astride's Kickstarter was successful! 🎉

What an incredible journey it has been. We wish to thank you all so much for the love and support you've shown. Not only did the initial goal of €30,000 get crushed, but we've had 1,030 backers! This is beyond our wildest imaginations. This really shows how much we've needed and wanted a new horse game to come to life. And with your help, we are so many steps closer!

What's next? Kickstarter will now start collecting your pledges. It's expected that due to payment issues, some pledges will fail. Kickstarter will reach out to backers with reminders in the next 7 days. If a backer isn't able to resolve their payment issues within these 7 days, they will unfortunately no longer be considered a backer and we won't be able to give out the rewards to that backer.

Because of this, we will wait a week until we start giving out the Discord backer roles. This way, we don't give extra work for our wonderful moderators who will be giving out the roles by hand. This also gives us a few days to plan and make sure things are in order.

Easter came fast, and in Norway, Easter consists of a lot of "red days" (holidays). For this reason, the team will be having a small break from the 11th to the 15th of April, and we will be back in the offices at Tuesday the 19th! But don't worry, we will be active and you can reach out to us if there are any concerns.

We are happy to announce we are officially going live with our game development! Astride is a new future horse game, a horse RPG based in Scandinavia! Our main focus will be Scandinavian horse breeds and nature/environment, but we will of course have horse breeds from all around the world! Starting disciplines are dressage, show jumping and cross country, but we will be adding more disciplines later in development!

We started this project in October of 2020, so almost a full year has been dedicated already, and we are finally far enough along to start showing you guys what we are doing! If you have any questions or are interested in knowing more, make sure you check out our official social media(especially the Discord server, where we will be updating weekly)!

We will of course make annual posts here on Facebook, but if you want access to behind the scenes, work in progress and much more, our Discord is the place to be! You will also be able to ask any questions or get to know other horse game enthusiasts. We are looking forward to seeing you!
