Freeze warning in effect for the next 5 to 7 days please pay attention pipes pets and people….
We do get phone calls reporting pets without shelter in the cold and we do forward those reports to the sheriffs office and follow up to make sure the animals are properly cared for. Do the right thing bring your animals inside or provide proper shelter if you cannot

OUR WELLNESS IN THE PARK IS COMING UP!!! **Our Shelter will also be open that day from 10am-4pm**OPEN TO EVERYONE NO MATTER WHERE YOU LIVE!
Please be aware that if you have aggressive pets or more pets you can handle by yourself there is a special time for you that the Vet comes out to a vehicle and that is 1pm-2pm.
PLEASE HAVE YOUR DOG(S) ON A LEASH & UNDER COMPLETE CONTROL!!! PUPPIES THAT ARE NOT FULLY VACCINATED NEED TO BE IN SOME TYPE OF CARRIER OR WAGON - PAWS DO NOT NEED TO TOUCH THE GROUND WITH SO MANY UNVACCINATED PETS, YOU WOULD BE NEEDLESS EXPOSING THEM TO PARVO & DISTEMPER!! Also if your pet(s) make a mess then please clean up after them, we will have waste bags if you forget yours (We must keep the park clean per the City Of Picayune).
CATS/KITTENS NEED TO BE IN SOME TYPE OF CARRIER TOO!!
**You will need to print these forms below (You need a white & yellow form per 2 pets) (You can fill them out on your computer/laptop then print them out) THE FORMS HOLD 2PETS.
