Timing is everything, as they say. ⏰
But how do you know when is the right time to hire a Pinterest Manager like myself?
When I look back on my clients, I see a few key patterns that helped them reach their goals with me.
Here's where they were before they hired me:
👉 They were ready to stop relying on Instagram as their main way of getting clients. Sick and tired of low reach and engagement, they wanted to explore marketing on Pinterest!
👉 They knew something was off in their Pinterest strategy, but not sure exactly what. They were ready to take out the guesswork on why their Pinterest accounts were not bringing the results they were hoping for.
👉 They were looking for a set of helping hands, as simple as that! They recognized how much time they spend on additional tasks outside of photography & editing. They wanted to focus on their zone of genius and were ready to get a team member on board.
If you're reading this thinking, "This is me!"... then you are ready to take that next step.
Send me a DM and let's see if we're a match to work together.
So you are telling me you want lots of followers…
.
Why do you think you want lots of followers? You might believe that 10 k followers mean 10k clients.
.
Nope. Not necessarily.
.
A huge follower count DOES NOT equal sales.
.
You can sell your services successfully with under 500 followers! (I’m doing it, so you can do it too!)
.
As long as you:
👉 know who and how you serve
👉 make content relevant to your target audience
👉 engage with your target audience and nurture your online community
.
You can make generate sales from your socials without running paid ads and without having thousands of followers.
.
So please, don’t worry about follower count, stop comparing yourself, your business and your socials to someone else’s…
.
❌ AND for the love of Luci, don’t buy any followers to boost your account.
.
👉 If you are looking for someone to help you generate leads with your social media presence without having thousands of followers, send me a DM and let’s have a chat!

💬 Anyone else here is a Lucifan?
Hellooo, it’s me!
With the craziness still happening outside, it can be challenging to meet new people. Being an introvert is an added challenge too. 😂
When I started my Social media management business, I never realized just how much of being social it will include. Each day is a little fight with myself, showing up on stories, networking with people and building connections…
Don’t even get me started on Reels.😂
But you know what, I’m getting better at showing up AND I’m also embracing my weirdness. I love the people I have met and we are all a fun bunch!
I enjoy showing my personality and having fun in this space.
So hey, new people, nice to meet you! Happy to have you here!
As an introvert, it’s sometimes hard to stand out on social media for your business. I understand that. Hire someone who understands you (aka me!) Send me a quick DM and say Hi!
Anyone else is an introvert in this very social space?
You are missing out on extra visibility opportunities if you don’t use social media for your business.
Even if you are a local brick-and-mortar business, you should really consider setting up a social media presence.
People like to look things up before visiting a place or buying something and the most popular places where people look are Google and social media platforms.
That is what often sways people’s decision towards using A over B, or visiting C over D.
Society is going along with the times and so should your business.
You could be missing out on potential visitors and clients due to not having a presence on socials.
And you could be losing out to your competitors who have their presence set up.
It’s also a great way to share the story of your business, something that might not be obvious without talking about it and people really invest in those stories!
👉 If you have decided you’d like to learn more on how social media presence could improve your business, send me a DM.
Do you do online research before going to a new place or purchasing a new product?
Here’s a hard pill to swallow…
.
Because your younger relative (or relative of a relative) might be on their phone scrolling feeds at all waking hours, doesn’t mean they know what it takes to help a business grow with socials.
.
…sorry not sorry.
.
Honestly, it is an art and lots of work in the back-end, which is not always super obvious during the daily scroll.
.
Yes, it could be cheaper to pay your niece.
.
But think about the ACTUAL cost of not using your business’s social presence to its full potential.
.
❌ All the potential clients not seeing your content and thus not knowing you exist.
.
❌ Potential clients who do see your content, don’t resonate with it.
.
👉 If you are looking for someone to help your business gain momentum on IG, send me a DM!
.
How much time do you spend scrolling IG?
This might be a controversal opinion - but your content is more important than hashtags.
.
YES! Hashtags are great to boost your posts and help get extra eyeballs on them. You should use them, absolutely, but don't freak out about them at first.
.
BUT - if your content is not attractive and people scroll through the posts under hashtags, your post will be just scrolled past if it is not an absolute scroll-stopper for the people.
.
No, you don't have to make perfect posts, because done is better than perfect, but ensure that the basics are there:
.
👉 Readable fonts and text size
👉 Not too much text on a single image
👉 Not overcrowded with colors/design elements
👉 The post has good value for your audience (whether it is educational, entertainment or inspiration, for example).
.
What do you think is more important - hashtags or content?
I did a one-month reel challenge and here is how it went.👇
.
I tried it just to see what reels are all about and what they could do for me and my biz.
.
👉 Overall my reach grew a lot to 16.2k people in November!! When it was 639 people in the month of October with no reels. So I will definitely continue using them as part of my content strategy.
.
👉 There were days that I skipped reels, so this isn't a full 30 day result. I am a bit sad that I couldn't push myself to show up each day, but it was really freakin hard and if I had to choose my mental health over a reel, you know what I chose.
.
👉 What I noticed is that when I did take the breaks, the next reel I posted did much better, so I will likely stick with 1 to 2 reels per week going forward.
.
👉 I was shy and anxious about filming at first, but then once I filmed the first couple - I realized it is fun and not that scary!!
.
👉 Batching reels is awesome. Once I ran out of draft reels it was extra difficult to make myself film new ones and show up. 😅
.
I will probably do a follow up post to tell more about this experience.
.
Is there anything particular you'd like to know about the reels challenge/reels? Let me know in the comments and I will see you there!
Hashtag strategies getting more and more confusing? Hearing different strategies from different sources and that just makes you pull your hair out?
.
I totally get it!
.
I am a Social Media Manager so I should know right?
.
I have my strategy and I 'stalk' other creators I look up to and the two cents I can give on the topic are these:
.
Use as many hashtags as you need as long as they are ALL RELEVANT to the post and no more than 30!
.
If we were only supposed to use 3 to 5, we would not be able to add more than that?
.
If your hashtag strategy gives you the reach and engagement you are looking for, keep at it!
.
Consider the size of hashtags when using too.
Don't go for small hashtags with less than 10k posts, because no one is searching for those.
.
Also don't go for too large hashtags, because you would disappear amongst the masses unless you are already a big creator/influencer. So not over 1 million posts.
.
My own strategy:
- as many relevant hashtags as I can think of and research
- hashtags no smaller than 10k and not bigger than 1 million
- maybe one or two over 1 million in size, to try my luck.
.
What do you think about hashtags? Are they a pain and confusing? Or do you feel like you have them all figured out?
How to optimize your page to get more engagement?
Everyone wants to have a clear, awesome Social Media presence. We want our audience to understand who we are, what do we do and what can we help them with. One way, which should come before you even post anything on Facebook, is to optimize your profile to get those clicks and conversions. Of course, you can always go back and adjust, amend and fix what is not working so well, but here are some of my suggestions.
Number 1: Add a profile picture. People like to see people, so they would love to see you on your own profile. A nice, professional, smiley profile picture is the way to go.
Number 2: Adding a cover photo to capture your audience’s eye and also straight away give them an idea of what you are doing or your latest special offer. It works as a quick advertisement, even before people have started scrolling down your page!
Number 3: Complete your Description! It should talk about you and your offer and make sure you also use keywords, such as “Social Media Managing” or “Lifestyle coach”. I think it is difficult to describe what we do without using the keywords even by accident, but just to put it out there 🙂
Number 4: Choose the call to action button to get people to do what you would like them to do. Whether it is “Book a call” or “Learn more” etc.
Number 5: Engage, engage, engage! Upload posts, do lives, respond to your comments.
Number 6: Enable reviews. Everyone consults reviews before making any decisions and people trust Facebook reviews.
Number 7: Add and edit the Page Tabs. Go through and see whether the pre-applied tabs are relevant to your business. If not - remove them! And you can go through a list and add more relevant ones if you need to.
If you want to know how to optimize your page, let me know and I can do a FREE audit of your socials!
