The seniors of the Asian Studies program have reached a milestone in their college journey as they gather at the annual Baccalaureate Mass before proceeding to their next chapter, the Solemn Investiture, on June 10.

This traditional event was held on Friday, May 31, 2024, and provided them with a moment for reflection and anticipation, preparing them to embark on the future.

The UST Asian Studies Society conducts the One With ASEAN (OWA) 2024 at the TARC Auditorium and St. Raymund de Peรฑafort Building on Tuesday, May 28, 2024.

The annual event features performances and booths from each block showcasing the ten ASEAN member countries. This is the first onsite One With ASEAN event since the COVID-19 pandemic.

The UST Asian Studies Society Elections Committee proclaims two new officers for the academic year 2024-2025 on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at the TARC Auditorium.

Lara Sophia Chua is elected as the new ASSOC president garnering 116 votes. Meanwhile, Manuel Antonio Salak is the next external vice president, with 116 votes.

The outgoing ASSOC president, Mary Carl Buasen spearheaded the oath-taking of Lara Sophia Chua as the president for the next academic year.

It is a compilation of literary works and visual artworks that aims to uncover the stories that paint colors to how Asian Studies students view their world, as Asians and for Asians. ๐Ÿ‰

All submitted works will undergo proper screening prior to publication on the official UST Asian Studies Gazette website and official social media pages to be compiled into one literary portfolio. Bonafide Asian Studies students of the A.Y. 2023-2024 may submit multiple entries that have never been published elsewhere. ๐Ÿ“ฐ
