ILLEGYAL RECORDS (IGR) is an independent record label based in Sweden, mainly focusing on releasing female artists; supporting and providing these artists with studio and producers if needed. m "Standing Steady" by the Swedish reggae/dancehall group SERENGETI. Produced by Kapten Röd, Partillo Productions and Serengeti. After the album release Serengeti toured constantly for two years in countries such as Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, France, Austria, Denmark, Sweden, Chech Republic, Jamaica and South Africa. IGRs first EP-release, 2013, was the EP "Schhh" by Swedish hiphop artist FRIDA SCAR. Frida Scar is the rapper that has long figured in the Swedish hiphop scene, including the collective Femtastic. The EP "Schhh" contains six tracks with dark minimalist beats blended nicely with Frida Scars cheeky Gothenburg-accent, lyrics that leave imprints. Frida Scar has a lot to say and the Swedish hiphop-scene received this artist with open arms because she was well needed. The EP was produced by CATBEATS, ODIGGITY and Jett5. In january 2016 IGR are releasing the full length album "2008" by the Swedish musician and artist Sanna Sikborn Erixon. Co-owners of ILLEGYAL RECORDS are Clara Stjärna and Stina Velocette, based in Malmö and Gothenburg.
