私たちが、日本という国に生まれてよかったと感じるのは、 トヨタやホンダという大きな自動車メーカーがあるからでも、 世界第3位のGDPを誇っているからでもありません。 子供のころから “ドラえもん”や“ドラゴンボール”などのマンガに触れることができ、 芥川龍之介や村上春樹の小説に心を震わせることができたこと、 それこそが最大のよろこびでした。 そう、この国は魅力的なマンガや小説が 魔法の泉のように湧き出てくる不思議の国なのです。
