Our Story
Uncut Funk On spreaker.com has had an enjoyable evolution over the years. Originally, it started out on fbrn.us / Fishbowl radio Network on November 11, 2011 as a talk radio format featuring funk music. Over the years the show evolved into a less talk, more music format where the music is always the star, and has earned the alternative name of the Funk Bus. Uncut Funk takes pride in not only bringing a wide scope of music that includes P-Funk, classic funk, party jams, and genre bending music, but also in keeping funk relevant, by continually presenting you with the latest in new funk being created by our veteran funk artists, and new funk artists as well. Aside from the music you can enjoy informative conversations with the people who create the music. Members of veteran groups Parliament/Funkadelic, Rick James’ Stone City Band, Slave, Cameo, Isley Brothers, and many more have been guests. More recent artists have been guests too, such as PTFI, Defiance Douglas/Exiles of the Nation, Garrett Shider, Katdelic, Zoot Zilla and others. My hope is to continue to bring you a quality radio show that spreads a vibe of love, goodwill, peace, and unity through music.
