Why We Exist...
Sky Blue Daisies Publishers existed long before the launch of our very first product in 2013. CEO and Editor-in-Chief Dawn Bedingfield learned a love of writing from a mentor who first taught her to journal. By experimenting with poetry writing and different ways to journal, Dawn -- a high level introvert --learned to express insightful emotions, complicated thoughts, and simplify complex ideas with words. She first tested the waters of publishing in the early 2000s, and was soon self-publishing her own words regularly. With more than eleven published works, Dawn soon expanded her vision to helping others avoid the red tape and great expense of the traditional and self-publishing arena. Holding a BLS with a writing specialization from The University of Iowa, Dawn uses all of her combined education, more than twenty years of experiences in customer services, decades of writing and expertise in the publishing arena to ensure each client’s project reach for the sun like the daisies in bloom.
At SBDPublishers we are intimately invested in every client and every project we are presented. From start to finish we work tirelessly to deliver a high quality result and a happy client. Our primary goal is to operate as a quality firm by focusing on the individual first to help them turn their unique experiences into uncommon stories by offering short term, goal specific, inexpensive, excellence of publishing services through publishing, coaching, consulting, writing education, and basic promotion.
