This morning I began to reflect back on the places I’ve n been over the last few days. Every establishment that I have visited to make a purchase has literally been empty but as soon as I placed my order or payed for my things and turned around the place was now filled with people. Each time I thought, I m glad I got here when I did. So this morning it happened again and I heard the Spirit of the Lord say, think it not strange, I just need you to show up and the provision shall be there. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow you all the days of your life. Just show up, go where I tell you at the appointed time and the overflow shall follow🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

We can preach the uncompromised word of God and still have compassion for people. It is the responsibility of the body of Christ to help restore the people of the world back to their position in Christ. This means that we have to allow them to come as they are and be transformed and renewed by receiving the uncompromised word of God. We know that their sin is wrong but we don’t have to beat them down because of it. The same grace that God extended to us is the same grace that we must extend. We are to never come in agreement with wrong doing or anything that exalts itself against the knowledge of Christ but that doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t help the broken find the root of their brokenness and tell them what the word of God says about it. Be a disciple not a judge.

Teachable moment:

While the storm was passing yesterday I made my kids come into the hallway with me then I called my mom to check on them and the convo went a little like this…

My mother: ooh it’s bad out here
Me: All we can do is pray (I had already prayed prior to calling her)
Kingston: well mom when are we going to start
Me: start what?
Kingston: praying
Me: oh ma imma call you back I gotta pray with my kids

So I joined hands with King and TJ and Godzilla(lol) and begin to decree and declare safety

King: now we can go back to our bedroom
Me: no I need you to stay in here with me

In that moment my baby put me in check real quick.
I heard God saying, you prayed about it, decreed and declared a thing and yet you’re still wondering what the end will be. Trust me. My word says decree and declare a thing and it shall be established. I am not a man that can lie.

God I thank You🙌🏽

Bring molested does not have to define you! You do not have to be stuck in a box because someone violated you. It’s time to heal. It’s time to move forward and not allow the past to cripple you. It’s time heal so you can go back and help those who share the same trauma that you experienced. There is nothing wrong with therapy, there is nothing wrong with crying out to God to help you. God has not forgotten about you!!! It’s time to heal, grow, and glow-up!!!

Somebody needs to know that there is healing hidden in your pain. We often run from the pain but when we get to the root of the pain we can find healing and deliverance. When we find the beginning we can then determine how to end it. Pain is like a fire, we have to know what started a fire to figure out how to put it out. You can’t put out a grease fire with water. We have to know the root, the source of the fire to put it out and pain is the same way. When we have physical pain we have to know what’s causing it to know if you need pain meds, surgery, antibiotics or nerve pain meds, we need to know the root to determine how to cure the pain. Pain from trauma that we’ve experienced is the same way. We have to get to root to treat the pain. When God shows us, us in the spirit we have to stop running from what is revealed. Stay in that place with God and allow Him to heal the parts of us that hurt, the places that we can’t seem to speak about because the pain, the places that we think we’re hiding. Sometimes we have to go back to the place where we were first broken. There is healing hidden in pain if we just allow God deal with it.

For a lot of us, our prayers are limited to asking God for a good day or having a safe trip. There’s nothing wrong with that, but that’s only scratching the surface of what God wants to do through your life.

This doesn’t mean God will answer every prayer with a “yes.” In fact, when God says “no” or “wait,” we should praise Him for those hard answers because they’re for our good.

God invites us to pour out our hearts to Him like we do with our closest friends. It’s an invitation to ask for things you believe are impossible — a healed relationship with your parents, a friend coming to church with you, or financial provision for college.

Audacious faith has the courage and boldness to ask God for what seems impossible — because what seems impossible to us is possible with God.

We challenge you to learn to live in the tension of believing God to do the impossible while also trusting Him to do what He deems best. Audacious faith knows that sometimes the miracle is the sun stands still, and sometimes the miracle is you shine brighter in the dark.
