Tomorrow may be one of the most important days for a bakery…especially a bakery that specializes in lamination.

It’s National Croissant Day!!! 🥐

We LOVE croissants! I mean who doesn’t love a good croissant?

To celebrate we are opening back up in the Napa shop on Tuesdays! Yes, you heard that correctly. What better way to celebrate this day than with all our friendlies?

We will be featuring a cannoli filled croissant with a delicious, chocolatey, mascarpone/ricotta filling. And…for one day only, our breakfast sandwiches will all be made on croissants. 🤯

Come hang on a Tuesday! Sonoma will be stocked with all the same goodies as well.

Our oldest current resident at the Yolo County Animal Shelter is 14-year-old Dodger.
We’re obsessed with his powder sugar face and bubbly personality. 😍
For a guy this old, he still has a great amount of energy to play and hang out with other dogs and people.

Montra, is a 2 yo intact red and white Siberian Husky who has been at the Shelter since
10/24. WHAT KIND OF NAME IS THIS?
Montra is starting to decline in the Shelter and has shown some food and resource guarding which is escalating. Montra needs more resources than the shelter can provide.
Volunteers said this about Montra: Absolutely beautiful husky.well behaved, friendly and loves pets and belly rubs. Good on walks.
Montra is at the Contra Costa County Animal Shelter at 4800 Imhoff in Martinez, CA. His adoption status is unknown.

Bubble ❤️

A face only a mama could love?

Nah, everyone loves this girl. But nobody wants to adopt her?

Our sweet little gargoyle is doing great. Shes had an exam, spay and nares surgery (to help her breathe better). Her wobbly back legs are from slipping patella’s as we expected and we’ll assess them further. Her soft palette wasn’t as bad as we feared and she’s pampered and adored in her foster home.

Bubble is 25 pounds of adorable pocket bully type (maybe Frenchie mix). She’s great with people, dogs and cats in her foster home but can be leash reactive to other dogs without proper introductions. She’s said to be 18 months old but has clearly had at least one cesarean and has nursed plenty of puppies. All that is behind her though. She’s not going to be much of a walker but she can be a fabulous little house gremlin. If her wobbly knees need surgery, Dogwood will cover it.

As the outdoor temperatures start to drop, cats will hide under vehicle hoods for protection and warmth.

Use caution when you start your car in the cooler winter months ahead. If cats are left outside they may climb under the vehicle hoods for protection from the cold. Before you climb into your car, knock the hood or open it for a quick look around.
