Yes even this goth girl loves her football. Remember going to games in Miami as a kid during the Bob Griese /Don Shula years. Seeing the dolphins in the original Foxboro stadium against the Patriots. This was my morning. I would watch this, write in my journal and learn about what was going on with the draft or the season, laugh at and his passionate rants, the fun ways that the personalities of all 4 of them would shine through and show their love of the game.
Today is the first Monday of no til July and my routine is already thrown. I just wanted to post how much you mean to some of us and how much a part of our lives you are. , and you make mornigs bearable and I wish it was July already.

True Detective Night Country has been amazing so far. Binged the first 3 episodes tonight and I’m hooked.
It goes further and further down the spiral. (If you watch it you get my meaning.) if you can watch it do it.

I know there is a lot of nods to John Carpenter’s the Thing but it is so much more than that. Great characters, strong story and I still have no idea where this is headed. I’m hooked!

Wednesday Women in Wrestling! I wanted to do shout outs to some of my favorite female wrestlers. I will be doing AEW and WWE. I’m going to start with Shayna Baszler. She debuted in 2017 during the Mae Young Classic . 2 time NXT women’s champion and 3 time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion. With her background in MMA her style and look is completely different than the rest of the Women’s roster. I have always loved her brutal way of doing a match. I think it’s high time she had a decent shot at a singles belt. Maybe have her put Nia Jax in her place and then go after Rhea Ripley! She is also a huge gamer and Warhammer 40k fan which makes her even more awesome.

Sometimes I wonder if I ever will have my s**t together. I’m going back to work after a month and a half away from it as I was fighting for short term disability. I’ve been denied twice not because they don’t believe my doctor’s but because I had a mental breakdown 3 weeks too soon. So I go back and try to hold it together for 30 days. During some of the angriest times for customer service. I have no idea what to expect and frankly the only reason I am going back right now is because well…..no money at all and 2 months of bills need to be paid. I keep hoping it will all get better and maybe for once I will get it together. The right meds, go through all the therapy and such. Just wish I had like a 20 year head start on this.

I’m wanting to be transparent about what’s going on lately. I’m currently filing for short term disability. My mental health has taken a serious nosedive and I want to give myself a chance to get my meds and therapy working together before I throw myself into the work blender again. I’ll be posting more and also possibly doing some stream time. I haven’t painted in months because of stuff and spooky season did not meet expectations for me. Then again the thing that gets me out of bed right now is my dogs to make sure they are fed. I want to write about this because because I feel like this kind of thing needs to be normalized. 15-20% of the population is neurodivergent. To give you an idea of how many people that is that is equal to the entire population of the state of Texas and California combined. I know I’m not the only who goes through this. I just want to share my story maybe it will help someone. Maybe someone will feel less alone

This picture is pretty accurate description of the “State of Luna”. It’s been a crazy couple of months. Been getting my meds right, therapy, starting month 5 of this new to me WFH job. Have I painted lately? No. I’m finally starting to feel that itch to paint again which is awesome because my desire to want to do anything was out the window thanks to new meds they tried to put me on. Watched any Horror Films? Yes! Catching up on some films I had missed the last couple of years. Looking forward to everything coming out soon. Now I just need it to stop being 90 degrees in the Midwest in September.
