Craton #κράτος
A craton is an old and stable part of the continental lithosphere, of which consists the Earth's two topmost layers, the crust and the uppermost mantle. Having often survived cycles of merging and rifting of continents, cratons are generally found in the interiors of tectonic plates. They have a thick crust and deep lithospheric roots that extend as

much as several hundred kilometres into the Earth's mantle, forced in pressures that stabilise the carbon atoms into cubic shapes, producing one of the hardest materials, named diamond. In these terms of allegory, Craton Records is releasing prime sonic textures of sounds and patterns, which exist in the layers of most music genres. This newly formed label by Hmisu and 3Voice, is here to remind us that music is an experimental state of environment that pre-exists in the human culture for centuries.
