Throw back to my birthday last month:

A massive thank you to Christie and the boys, Katiee Markus and the kids, CeeJay, Adam, Immy and Byron, for an amazing and special afternoon! They all conspired with each other to set up a beautiful picnic and surprise party for me. Words cannot express the love I felt when arriving, blind folded, to the park. Tears were shed as I realised what was happening. Initially I was heading to a pop up cocktail lounge in Brisbane city, and CeeJay and I stopped at Maccas to get a few frokes. But after we pulled into the car park, she turned to me an said “I lied, and I love you!” Hands me a blind fold and took me to the park.

The people mentioned above are a major part of my life. They are apart of my chosen family. Without these beautiful, amazing, caring loving people I wouldn’t be the person I am today.

Thank you all so much for an amazing afternoon/night. I love you all to bits.

Went back to one of my happy places today, and I was able to share my story’s from my time upon this vessel.

As well as listen to stories from people that witnessed the ship being gifted to Australia in 1988, and the stories from the first year of youth voyages.

It’s funny. Both not much, and so much has changed from her maiden voyage, to her resent voyage. The laughter we shared and the closeness we felt. She’s one hell of a vessel.

Someone tell me HOW I DIDN’T KNOW THERE WAS A BATMAN EXHIBIT at Movie World?!!???!?! Look at this! LOOK AT THIS! The costumes and vehicles are something else!! Hands down one of my favourite attractions at the park! Jack Nicholson Joker is my absolute favourite live action Joker! Hands down!
