Something a bit different...

As part of 'A Year Of Conversation', I'm hosting a few small events in my home region… I’m going to be playing some tracks, inviting some guest performers, talking about our music and the work involved, taking questions and just having a bit of a chat, really...

Never really done anything like this before, but hoping it’ll be at least semi-interesting!

The first is at the incredible newly-opened Moat Brae in Dumfries - the inspiration behind Peter Pan - on Friday 25th of October.

I'm being joined by Cammy Black from the 13 Crowes (we’ll almost inevitably end up singing Springsteen together...), as well as some other guests. Should be fun.

Open to everyone, would be great to see you there - and particularly hoping some young musicians from the area will come down and say hello, let us know what you’re up to, and hopefully pick up some info that may be useful.
