It's been a wonderful two years promoting and submitting this film, and I couldn't be more proud of the praise and attention it has received.

With the new year upon us, I feel it only right to finally put this film to bed and move on to the next exciting project.

"MONARCH" Director's Cut*
An EVENTIDE ENTERTAINMENT/DMZ FILMS Production

"Monarch" is a neo-noir short mystery based loosely on the docu-drama "The Cross at the Gem" which was submitted to the 2017 Lander Film Festival. It depicts a down on his luck private eye who is hired by a young woman to find her missing husband, a known he**in addict. From there our hero dives into the seedy underbelly of Dayton, OH only to find that not everything is as he once knew.

The film was shot in Dayton, OH and Cincinnatti, OH during one of the coldest winters on record. The entire cast is made up of stand-up comics from the Dayton area. While the characters and events in this film are 100% fiction, the weight of it all is still 100% factual: he**in is tearing apart the city of Dayton.
