Y’all I feel seen!! 🤣 This was me this past week at the FOOT of the cross, okay! If you’re a parent, and default became a homeschool teacher, you know what I’m talking about and need to receive ALL 76 seconds of this prayer 🤣🤣. A friend sent me this and it was right on time when I needed a laugh!! Teachers: You are doing the Lord’s work! 🙏🏾

T E A R S • Open the floodgates!! It’s hard to say goodbye to the people who have become your family, your friends, your confidants. Yesterday was my last day at WBTV News and there were so many thoughtful goodbyes, messages, hugs, and tears. Oh, and good food to eat our feelings away! Professionally, I couldn’t have asked for a better team to work with. A team that puts up with my antics whether it’s laughing so loud you hear me down the hallway, bickering with John Carter daily about not making coffee or restocking the gummy bears bag, or in the fall debating someone in the newsroom about college football. I truly loved working here. At the same time I’m so excited for what’s to come... 🙏🏾
So many of you have sent text messages, emails, DMs, commented in the posts. Thank you for showing me so much love. My heart is truly overflowing...❤️

My heart is overflowing with all your messages of congratulations and encouragement since announcing I will be leaving WBTV News on March 4.

Many of you have asked: What’s next?!... I’m thrilled to be joining the FOX 5 Atlanta team to launch a new 4:30pm newscast and co-anchor their 11pm news. Somebody pinch me! I’m humbled and grateful for this new opportunity to join the Fox 5 team... and as I said on air, thrilled to be able to be in the same city again with my immediate family.🙏🏾❤️

Y’all know what moving is like so pray for our transition.😉

My girls and I want to thank the millions of people who’ve shown support and love during this horrific time. Thank you for all the prayers. We definitely need them. We are completely devastated by the sudden loss of my adoring husband, Kobe — the amazing father of our children; and my beautiful, sweet Gianna — a loving, thoughtful, and wonderful daughter, and amazing sister to Natalia, Bianka, and Capri.
We are also devastated for the families who lost their loved ones on Sunday, and we share in their grief intimately.
There aren’t enough words to describe our pain right now. I take comfort in knowing that Kobe and Gigi both knew that they were so deeply loved. We were so incredibly blessed to have them in our lives. I wish they were here with us forever. They were our beautiful blessings taken from us too soon.
I’m not sure what our lives hold beyond today, and it’s impossible to imagine life without them. But we wake up each day, trying to keep pushing because Kobe, and our baby girl, Gigi, are shining on us to light the way. Our love for them is endless — and that’s to say, immeasurable. I just wish I could hug them, kiss them and bless them. Have them here with us, forever.
Thank you for sharing your joy, your grief and your support with us. We ask that you grant us the respect and privacy we will need to navigate this new reality.

Kobe Bryant and his 13 year old daughter, Gigi, killed in a plane crash today.
I’m sure you’ve seen the news by now.
Can’t stop thinking about the rest of his daughters left behind, and his wife who stood by him through thick and thin.

Yes to the best party of the szn! Amazing time at the Gray Holiday Party benefitting the Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture!! Herb and Felicia Gray have been passionate philanthropists since they set foot in Charlotte. They’re not about taking up space, but changing the space we’re in the for the better. So it was so humbling they personally asked to be an honorary host alongside Charlotte Mayor Vi Lyles, radio host No Limit Larry, and Alaine and Yandrick Paraison from ... people who love this city too and work to change it for the better!! The Who’s Who of Black Charlotte was in the HOWSE y’all!

Not something you wish on anyone but this was coming. Honestly I didn’t think it would happen mid season, but this is how the business is. He has done a lot for this community - no doubt. Wishing him the best.

KNOW Tribe! Gained a new group of SISTERS last night at the KNOW Book + Tribe launch party! Volume 2 of their magazine was revealed. It highlights amazing women doing amazing work in Charlotte. It’s not about competing with each other and no “mean girls” allowed in this group y’all. It’s about collabing and uplifting! So I’m excited about being among this diverse, smart and talented group!
