PIU-Udhampur, NHAI under Regional Office-Jammu has organised a Swachhta Run of 05 kms from Gole Mela to Battal Ballian on NH-44 as one of the key pillars for mass public participation (Swachhta ki Bhagidaari) on the occasion of Swachhta Hi Sewa (SHS)-2024.
The Flag-off has been conducted by Sh. Ravi Kesar, IFS(Retd.) Joint Advisor(E&P), RO-Jammu in presence of Sh. Amrish Mankar, PD, PIU-Srinagar, Sh. Purshotam Kumar, PD, PIU-Ramban, Sh. Girdhar Gopal Gourav, DGM(Tech.), RO-Jammu and Sh. Anuj Kumar Singh, PD, PIU-Udhampur.
The Swachhta Run Winner in Male Category is Sh. Akshay, 1st Runner-up is Sh. Raghav Sharma and 2nd Runner-up is Sh. Ajay Kumar and in Female Category the Winner is Ms. Kajal, 1st Runner-up Ms. Anjali Rajput and 2nd Runner-up is Ms. Isha Sharma. Approximately 170 participants participated in the Swachhta Run comprising of Children, Youngsters and Senior Citizens from SMVDSB-Katra, District Youth Services & Sports-Udhampur, Open Public, NHAI Officers, Consultants and Contractors of NHAI.
The Prize to the winners has been distributed by the Chief Guest of the event Sh. Radhey Shyam Yadav, Regional Officer-J&K, NHAI alongwith message to the Society about the awareness of holistic approach towards cleanliness & hygienic environment.

कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता ने वर्षों से पार्टी के लिए की है निःस्वार्थ सेवा, जनता की मांग पर टिकट मिलने की संभावना बढ़ी

सांबा: आगामी विधानसभा चुनावों में सांबा सीट से कांग्रेस पार्टी के संभावित उम्मीदवार के रूप में विजय टगोत्रा का नाम तेजी से उभर कर सामने आ रहा है। कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता और पूर्व बीडीसी चैयरमैन घगवाल विजय टगोत्रा ने अपने लंबे राजनीतिक करियर में पार्टी के प्रति ईमानदारी और समर्पण का उदाहरण प्रस्तुत किया है, जिससे उन्हें पार्टी के भीतर और जनता के बीच व्यापक समर्थन मिला है।

विजय टगोत्रा ने कांग्रेस सेवा दल के साथ अपने राजनीतिक सफर की शुरुआत की और लंबे समय तक संगठन के साथ जुड़े रहे। इसके बाद उन्होंने यूथ कांग्रेस के जिला उपाध्यक्ष के रूप में पांच साल तक पार्टी की सेवा की। उनकी संगठनात्मक क्षमता और नेतृत्व कौशल के चलते उन्होंने पार्टी को जमीनी स्तर पर मजबूत बनाने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई।

सिर्फ पार्टी संगठन ही नहीं, बल्कि स्थानीय प्रशासन में भी टगोत्रा ने अपनी छाप छोड़ी है। उन्होंने तीन बार सरपंच पद पर विजय हासिल की, जिससे उन्होंने अपने क्षेत्र की जनता के बीच विश्वास और समर्थन को मजबूत किया। इसके अलावा, बीडीसी चैयरमैन घगवाल के पद पर भी उन्होंने सफलता प्राप्त की और अपने क्षेत्र के विकास कार्यों में अहम योगदान दिया।

टगोत्रा ने न केवल राजनीतिक और प्रशासनिक क्षेत्र में, बल्कि स्थानीय हस्तशिल्प और हथकरघा क्षेत्र में भी उल्लेखनीय काम किया है। सांबा जिला में अपने बिस्तर चादरों के लिए प्रसिद्ध है, टगोत्रा ने 50 से अधिक स्व-सहायता समूह (SHG) का गठन किया, जिनमें 500 से अधिक परिवार जुड़े हुए हैं। इन समूहों के माध्यम से उन्होंने न केवल क्षेत्र के आर्थिक विकास को प्रोत्साहन दिया बल्कि हस्तशिल्प के क्षेत्र में भी नए अवसरों का सृजन किया है।

सांबा विधानसभा क्षेत्र में वर्तमान में जनता की एक ही आवाज सुनाई दे रही है कि विजय टगोत्रा को कांग्रेस पार्टी से टिकट दिया जाए, ताकि वे भाजपा को कड़ी टक्कर दे सकें। स्थानीय निवासियों का मानना है कि टगोत्रा की क्षेत्र में मजबूत पकड़ और जनता के बीच उनकी लोकप्रियता उन्हें एक प्रभावी उम्मीदवार बनाती है।

लोगों ने कहा कि विजय टगोत्रा ने हमेशा हमारे क्षेत्र के विकास और समस्याओं के समाधान के लिए काम किया है। हमें विश्वास है कि वे विधानसभा में हमारी आवाज को मजबूती से उठाएंगे और क्षेत्र के विकास को नई दिशा देंगे
