Beth and I wanted to announce that we're ending Boppin' With Beth and Catching A Wave radio show soon in an effort to manage increasing anxiety and stress. I did Rockabilly N Blues Radio Hour for years and then went right into Catching A Wave. That was a radio show every week with no break for 10 1/2 years. Beth started Boppin' With Beth in September 2020 and hasn't missed a week since. We're super passionate about music and keeping heritage and new music alive but we're also paying attention to our well beings. We need the weekly radio show break which may or may not be permanent. As you can imagine, a tremendous amount of planning, pre-production, final production, distribution, promotion, etc. went into each show every single week. We want to thank all the record labels, publicists, artists, radio affiliates and listeners for the tremendous amount of support! It's something we'll never forget and cherish the friendships we've made. Now, we get to just listen and enjoy all the great music out there!

I'm proud of the fun shows we did and all the different segments. Beth became my favorite DJ and I am super proud of what she did with her show. I watched her brainstorm the idea, the name of the show and then brought it to life. She got so many awesome radio liners for the show (including her favorite of all time...Jackson Browne!!) I'm sure we'll do something new at some point but it will be stress-free with no timelines...and like always...just for the love of the music! The dates for the final shows will be 09-13-24 for Boppin' With Beth and 09-16-24 for Catching A Wave! Thanks so much for listening!

That's right. Boom is FINALLY being released.
Starting September 13th, Jordan Albertsen's film, fifteen years in the making, Boom: A film about the Sonics will open in select theaters and will play through December.
All current screenings (more will be added) are listed on the films website:
www.sonicsfilm.com

If you don't see your local independent theater listed, don't tell us, let THEM know you want to see the film in your town.

And YES. There will be a digital and physical release to follow shortly after. And YES, it will also play internationally. All that news will be announced as it becomes available.
