Afrinolly ShortFilm Competition :: Vote

Ng'endo Mukii's award-winning documentary-animation, Yellow Fever, has been shortlisted for the Afrinolly Short Film competition. There are 10 documentary films shortlisted, and the three that receive the most online votes win, $5000 (3rd place) $10,000 (2nd place) and $25,000 (1st place).

Mukii is a recipient of the 2013 Africa First Focus Features film grant, and is the only East African to qualify in this year's Afrinolly Competition.

Congratulations to Africa First 2012 Winners: Vincent Moloi (South Africa), Samantha Nell (South Africa), William Nicholson (South Africa), Jeremiah Mosese (Lesotho) and Ekwa Msangi-Omari (Tanzania)!

Focus Features officially announced the five winners for its 2012 Africa First Program, an initiative launched in 2008 that is dedicated to providing financial assistance for upcoming African filmmakers. Each filmmaker will be awarded $10,000 to be used for funding their films' pre-production, production, and/or post-production.
