Books are my constant companion, and I enjoy the knowledge that they provide. I typically read 1-2 books a month in any given year.

However, my favourite kind of books are the ones that spur me to take action or cause a behavioural change.

This year was one of growth and challenges, as are most years, and these books played a crucial part in my journey and I'm sharing them with you in the hope that you can gain value from them as well.

Mother Earth has been around for way longer than we have, and most likely will be around long after humans are gone.

Therefore, being environmentally conscious is a purely selfish act. All of us should selfishly protect the Earth from further damage because we are the ones with the most to lose, and our future generations.

My goal was never to make videos for the sake of making videos. The goal has been learn the process of making videos and share with you what I've learned along the way.

In this video I've tackled a new software for editing and it's been a challenging but fun journey so far. Please leave a comment with your thoughts. Skateboarding is something I've wanted to learn for some time now. With the weather getting a little bit nicer, I decided to take the plunge and get on a skateboard for the first time in 16 years.

As a bartender I spend a lot of time polishing glassware. In all the glasses I've polished I've never been able to polish more than one glass at a time. It is not something I can multitask my way through.

This got me thinking, what other tasks in my life require my full attention. For example, making and editing videos, reading, teaching. Pretty much my entire day is filled with tasks that require my undivided attention. I suspect this is the case for a lot of people.
