Using Birmingham and Atlanta radars now, due to them being farther away it’s harder to see the storms and accurate placement

Continue to be weather aware. A couple tornado warnings are off to the west towards Huntsville and are moving towards Dekalb and Jackson counties.

Severe thunderstorm warning for portions of Jackson county (areas inside the yellow shaded polygon)

Other storms are strong but not severe. Gusty winds and small hail are the main concerns.

Line of storms off to our west along the AL/MS are moving to the north and east this morning. This line will move across north AL today. Model data shows this line in NE AL this evening (around 4-6pm). Heave rain and gusty winds possible. Small hail could accompany any of the stronger storms.

Noisy thunderstorm moving through eastern Dekalb, nothing severe. Gusty winds , heavy rain and pea size hail can be expected.
