Born and raised in Queens, New York, Karina Robledo is the writer, producer, and director of "La Narca", the first episode of Now Boarding series. Karina holds pride in her Latin Culture and not caring to have to define a number to her heritages generation. She’s Colombian AND American speaking both English AND Spanish.

She considers her “founding father” to have been her first full-time internship opportunity; En La Escena, a bilingual entertainment television broadcasting channel. She later had worked with MyLifeStyle Magazine, a bilingual fashion, health, beauty, and entertainment magazine. Working as an Assistant Producer, Videographer, and Photographer, Karina covered content from Mercedes Benz Fashion Week to red carpet events, galas, and concerts. Thus opportunities lead her to do more work with Mega TV, Fusion Magazine, and Latin Times. Being the only young white-looking female behind the camera at events gave her the motivation to do MORE and advocate herself as an artist- not a groupie trying to take a picture with a celebrity for her Instagram page.

Having received her bachelor's degree in Film and Television Broadcasting from St. Francis College in 2012, Karina worked with Arts Education as an after-school activity specialist and museum educator. Wanting to keep her passion up to date, Karina is continuing her studies with television at Brooklyn College for her Masters. Her most recent work has lead to being more quiet and contemporary as she has created a focus on the importance of the Arts for the personal being and education. Her short documentary film, "Ariel", exemplifies that hardship.
