Over the past two years, sound artist Manuela Schininà has designed this radio show as an eclectic selection of songs mixed with field recordings, snippets of YouTube material, and more. S&C, in addition to being broadcast by this radio station, has become the soundtrack for a social dance event that occasionally takes place in Berlin. Rory and Thodoris, aka Therena Kingshow, are both visual artists and they first met on 2011 in Glasgow where they both studied. Alongside visual arts they have a strong interest in music and since 2016 they dj under the name of Therena Kingshow. Their sets have a wide range of influences, post punk, synth, industrial, disco, indie, country, everything.

For this evening’s broadcast, we’re excited to greet Zonkey and their new show “Learning to speak with Earth”.
Experimental music project ZONKEY by artists Angela Melitopoulos and Kerstin Schroedinger, will follow Zonkey’s itenary to different places where they engage with people who are storytellers of a certain knowledge about a certain place.
This narration, will be a bi-monthly show and each show will be embedded with Zonkey’s improvised music.
Their first episode “Becoming Land with Barbara Glowczewski on Australian Aboriginal cosmologies”, will be a storytelling session from from 2021, with French anthropologist Barbara Glowczewski about the land struggles of Aboriginal Australians, their artistic and legal strategies, and how their cosmology has changed scientific subject-object orders.
