Shocked and saddened by today’s news about Alexei Navalny. One of the greatest compliments our movement in Uganda has ever received is being compared to Navalny’s brave fight in his home country. Today’s tragic news is yet another reminder of the dangers of standing up to brutal and powerful regimes. All we can do is continue fighting not just for the people of Uganda, but for all of those repressed by regimes that don’t believe in the Power of the People.
