Nidhi is a passionate advocate for ethical and equitable technology. She has been working in AI policy advocacy for the past 2.5 years, with a specific focus on placing prohibitions on cybersurveillance nationally and internationally. As a proud Bay Area native, she wants to protect the vibrancy and diversity of Bay Area culture that she loves so much. She believes that everyone has a right to privacy, and that people need to break through their perceived hopelessness about the situation to fight for that right. She is a first-time filmmaker who is excited to explore the world of documentary-making!

248: Feature Filmmaker Jesse Kuba made a film about Black Joy in San Francisco
Born and raised in Nigeria, Jesse Kuba moved to San Jose, California at the age of 17. A graduate from SFSU’s Film school.
Jesse has a unique perspective on how we see each other, and a fervent belief in the importance of storytelling, and seeing indigenous stories on screen. He has directed two acclaimed shorts and his first feature film (The Moon is in Aquarius).
THE MOON IS IN AQUARIUS screens Friday July 12th.

Angela Patton, Co-Director, Executive Producer
Angela Patton, CEO of Girls For A Change, is committed to advancing opportunities for Black
girls. Her TEDWomen talk garnered over one million views and inspired the making of Daughters.
As a speaker, author, and co-director, Patton is dedicated to celebrating and sharing the
multifaceted experiences of Black girls.
Lisa Mazzotta, Producer
Lisa Mazzotta is a multiple award-winning producer, dedicated to sharing stories to ignite positive
social change. Her work on the award-winning documentary RiverBlue led to tangible reform in
the fashion industry, and her work on NBC's hit show Heroes led NBC.com to win its first
Primetime Emmy Award. With Daughters, she continues to share the stories that shed light on
important issues.
Chad M. Morris is the Chief Executive Officer of Trinity Village Center at Trinity Family Life
Center (TFLC) in Richmond, Virginia. Trinity Baptist Church established Trinity Village Center
a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization which operates Trinity Family Life Center. TFLC’s
Strengthening Families Uplifting Communities Program is a national pilot for Casey Family
Programs’ faith- based initiative—a part of their 20/20 Strategy. Chad’s approach to family
strengthening and community regeneration has been demonstrated through the development and
implementation of the following TFLC Programs: Positive Paths: A Resource Center for Foster
Care Alumni, Responsible Fatherhood, Motherhood and Co-parenting Support Groups, Youth
Rites of Passage and The R.O.P.E.S. Youth Violence Prevention Program.
Chad is a speaker, advocate for social change, an NPCL Certified Fatherhood and Family Life
Coach, Master Trainer and Legacy Mentor. In his work with men, fathers, and families, Chad
developed The Proving Grounds: Success and Wellness Strategies, focusing on supporting
positive shifts in mindset, values
