'Lecturers are Entitled to Their Book and Research Allowance.' - Prez Mahama

The president of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama has said until government sets up its proposed book and research fund, striking lecturers must be paid their book and research allowance.
University lecturers in Ghana are currently on strike in demand of their annual book and research allowance for the 2015/2016 academic year.
The president spoke on Uniiq Fm.

CERTIFICATES FOR UNIVERSITY OF GHANA GRADUATES, 2015



The University of Ghana would like to inform affected graduates that due to technical challenges, it has not been possible to issue certificates to all those who graduated at the July 2015 Congregation.

Every effort is being made to ensure the outstanding certificates are issued by Friday, August 14, 2015. Affected graduates who require proof of having graduated for academic and other purposes before this date, should apply to the Director of Academic Affairs to be issued with the requisite letter in the interim.

Management is committed to ensuring that eligible graduates receive their certificates and apologizes for any inconvenience caused by the unforeseen delay, due to the largely technical and administrative challenges.
