It was a big day for us yesterday. 10 years ago we recorded our first ever podcast. To celebrate we got this cool print of that first ever episode about the TV show Gotham. Almost a thousand episodes (possibly more I've lost count) and now chatting about the new Sh**un TV show on TV Podcast Industries, it's still such a fun hobby. But always good to celebrate the big milestones.

It's always sad when we finish a series we've been enjoying but when it's a show created by Bruno Heller who gave us Gotham we know we're in for massive cliffhangers and surprising twists. We've just seen our first behind the scenes images from Pennyworth season two as executive producer Danny Cannon has been out scouting and shared the images on his Instagram. The show begins production in the UK this month.

This episode is probably my favourite of the season so far. Lady Trieu (played by Hong Chau) discussing Vietnamiese proverbs with Angela Abar is brilliant as is the intro of a slippery new character.

John and I talked about this show a bunch of times on the Pennyworth Podcast thinking that Metropololis was still in development. Interesting to finally get an answer about the status of the Danny Cannon DC pre-Superman show "Metropolis".
Danny Cannon says "After Gotham, DC were looking to expand their universe and we actually talked about doing a Metropolis show, which was a show about a city pre-Superman. I think that we just took it in such a strange direction that it was postponed."

Synopsis for Gotham Season 3 Episode 21 Review Destiny Calling Podcast Directed by: Nathan Hope Written by: Danny Cannon Gotham City is in turmoil and so is Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie). As the Tetch virus rages in the people of Gotham, so too it rages through Jim Gordon’s veins as he desperately tries to control his deepest darkest obsession. Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue) still has faith in his partner and at the G.C.P.D. he keeps him investigating as they, along with Alfred Pennyworth (Sean Pertwee), try to discover more from Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) about the Court and the Shaman. However, there is hope as word of an antidote designed by Professor Hugo Strange (BD Wong) based on the blood of Jervis Tetch (Benedict Samuel) reaches them.
