We are proud to present A Blink of An Eye from Alexander Vagabond a.k.a Alexander Andonov.

This EP follows his participation on the release KerVan Vol.1 with the band / project Soul Weapons which was released last summer.

With this three track release under the title A Blink of an Eye EP the artist brings a lustful downtempo atmosphere with warm melodies under a soulful trip hop concept and a constant chill out vibe.

Opening track is the main and self titled song A Blink of an Eye featuring Desy on the vocals. The song is constructed with a soulful melody blended with etherial vocals and a trip hop downtempo groove while the violin brings a classical but yet a cosmic spice to the song.

The journey continues with Revelation, a driving and trippy chill out groove. This time we have an instrumental and organic track constructed under a good vibe sound palette that will give you a positive light to push the darkness away.

Lost and Found is the third and the last track, it brings a more dark essence to the release with heavy distorted guitar lines. Moody and organic cooked with space dub rock concept and blended with a wild trip hop style. The vocals are performed by Vagabond him self. Both vocal tracks appear on the release with their instrumental versions.

Greek label Kraak bring us a three-track, five-mix EP from Bulgarian producer Alexander Vagabong, who previously featured on the label with his band Soul Weapons last year. 'A Blink Of An Eye' itself is a classic-style triphop affair featuring a female vocal from Desy. That's followed by 'Revelation', in which strings - at first choppy and staccato, later mournful and keening - take the lead atop a ponderous backbeat. The Middle Eastern-tinged 'Lost And Found', with its ominous spoken male vocal, then rounds out the trio of originals, with instrumentals of 'A Blink...' and 'Lost And Found' completing the set.

An all-German release here from Greek label Kraak, as veteran funk/breaks/disco producer Quincy Jointz teams up with fellow countrymen Lenny Cesar and, on remix duties, Marc Spieler. 'Boogie Down', in its Original form, is a pleasingly chunky nu-disco/disco-house jam with an M1-like lead synth riff, strings and barely-there snatches of diva vocal, all underpinned by a rock-solid 4/4 kick and an understated walking bassline. Spieler then gets seriously piano-tastic on his rerub, so you end up with one mix (Spieler's) for those peaktime moments and one that's more of a builder. Job done.
