Open Call: Roodkapje invites interdisciplinary artists (visual artists, musicians, performers, designers and the like) to their year-long laboratory for collaborative practice, collective fun and direct interaction between artists and audience. Are you looking to dive into an experiment involving five cooperators, mentors and a location full of dynamic possibilities?
This experimental artist-residency laboratory runs from March ’24 – February ’25 and has its headquarters at Roodkapje in the city center of Rotterdam.

This Friday, during Roffa Mon Amour, we've invited and challenged two talented musicians to do something special: Score a short film and perform the score live during the screening at the festival.

It's always a sight to behold and we're super excited with this year's lineup: Avvnt MM and Acidic Male, who both have picked a great short to score.

As part of Roffa Mon Amour’s cinema concerts, we’ve asked Acidic Male to provide a live electronic act together with the screening of short film ‘Flores del Otro Patio’!

With a background as a visual artist and writer, Acidic Male began experimenting with electronic music in 2019 through forms of industrial sounds, hypnotic drum patterns and experimental vocals. Her high appreciation of electronic experiments combined with a love of simply letting go reflects in her mixes and result in harsh dreamscapes. In her own production of music, she often includes poetry, whispering and screaming combined with samples of modulation and synthesis!
