We are thrilled to announce that Stuart ‘Stu’ Payne has joined our Flight Simulator Red Arrows team as a new pilot! Stu is a passionate and experienced aviator who has flown various aircraft and has years of experience under his belt, while fairly new to aerobatics in DCS he has shown the dedication, commitment, and aptitude to join the team. He will be flying as RED3 on the left wing of our formation, and we are looking forward to working with him to create amazing displays of aerobatics and precision for you all in the 2024 season!

Please join us in welcoming Stu to our team and wishing him all the best for his virtual flying career. We hope you will enjoy watching him fly with us in our upcoming shows next year, You can also follow us on social media for more updates and behind-the-scenes content.

PROGRESS UPDATE
Good evening everyone,

We thought it would be time to update you all on our current progress, where we stand, and where the future will take us.

Integrating our new lead RED1 Delta has been a great success and everybody has settled into his approach to flying.

We're still on the lookout for someone to join the team as RED4. We'll be doing our first review of current applicants shortly so if you have applied, standby while we get the ball rolling on that front.

Enid and Gypo section still remain split while each section builds up their proficiencies - especially following a change of flight lead.
Enid Section is making great progress, completing a full Part One in Short Spacing.

Gypo Section is continuing to learn and perfect Part Two moves. The Synchro Pair is also continuing their learning, transferring skills learnt in MSFS over to DCS.

As mentioned above, our Recruitment drive is still in progress and we'll be doing our best to find the right fit for our team.

Hello all,

With the team now full steam ahead, we sadly lost our outer winger due to personal circumstances - Ripple we wish the best in your future flight sim experience and hope to maybe in the future see you return!

This means we now have a position opening as RED4, this is an outer right-wing position. While recruiting an outer wing position is normally unorthodox, we are looking to fill it. Do you think you have what it takes to fly the iconic Red Arrows routine and want to give it a shot?

WELCOME TO OUR NEW RED1
We are excited to announce our new RED1 - Dale 'Delta' Brewis
Delta who has been in various flight sims over the last 15 years is about to kickstart the teams training for the 2024 season. He has said he is "incredibly motivated to show the community what the team has."

Delta's experience in the team is incredibly valuable. Going through the years first being involved in an FSX Blue Angels team in a community flying various displays in those early years. Eventually progressing through into DCS where he then in September 2016 he joined the Virtual Red Arrows as VRED3 for the 2017/18 display season where he performed various shows. Later he moved onto VRED5 again flying various displays including getting the chance to fly in-front of the actual RAFAT Red Arrows. In 2021 he left them and flew solo for abit before joining the Virtual Yellowjacks as 3. By November 2022 he had taken some time off and eventually got the buzz to do something again, joining this team as a background element supporting the team. Last month he got the drive to want to fully fly again and the team started adapting to DCS where he rejoined the team in a more active dynamic role and now having discussed thoroughly with the team is taking on RED1.

He thanks the previous RED1 - Matthew for his time and consideration into taking over, Matt is very happy that someone with this expererience is taking on the role as it is something that he envisaged from the very beginning of the team back in November 2022. Matt will now be taking the RED5 position in the team and he is looking forward to the new challenges this will bring him!
