We all know that Max befriended former Indiana Hoosier hoopster Troy Williams on one of his escapades to Bloomington. But what we didn't know is that they also did an Iowa Energy D-League game on TV together to wax poetic about mutual friend Wade Baldwin.

Nearly three years ago, Vanderbilt hired Derek Mason as its new head football coach. Mason then immediately turned to longtime friend and at-the-time Houston Texans quarterbacks coach Karl Dorrell to lead his offense to what would become one of the worst seasons in Commodore history.

Here's a photo of Dorrell talking with former Houston protege Matt Schaub, probably about dining techniques (we'll explain). The man affectionately known as "KD" was fired by Mason after one year on the job, but various rumors persist about his time on West End. We at The Homefield Advantage are among the few in this universe who know the ins and outs of the urban legend that was Dorrell's stint as offensive coordinator.
