Both born and raised on the Akwesasne Mohawk Rezervation, nuzzled along the border of Canada and the U.S.A, they have nurtured a sound and vibe as original and large as their surroundings. Hunter the younger of the two is the more quiet and reserved of the two, choosing to let the music speak for itself. He has a knack for catchy hooks and a commanding voice that fills up a room. Growing up around
older people you think he was much older than his mid-twenties. He is able to take you places with words, a true story teller for our generation. Always smiling and joking around. The only thing larger than his 400 pound frame is his heart, as he is always the first to give and the last to take. Worms voice is huge and deep, his style is a throwback to amore classic time of rap, which in this day is refreshing in comparison to a lot of what is “popular” in urban music. All though they have only released one mix tape in 2010, they have kept consistent by releasing a plethora of singles that has helped them to acquire a loyal following that is building exponentially every day. R.E.D.D has also been creating a buzz by gaining a reputation for a high energy live performance. It is on stage that these two individuals really come together giving spectators their monies worth and then some. R.E.D.D has already graced the stage with the likes of George Thoroughgood, Joe Buddens, Joell Ortiz, Royce da 5’9, Crooked I, Belly, Choclair, Saukrateez, Camoflauge, Magnum 357, Peter Jackson and more. Having these kind of high profile performances this early in their career has helped them to become seasoned and professional and they have been able to apply what they have learnt from these industry veterans. April 1, 2013 marked the release date of R.E.D.D’S first full length release “The Rez Rydaz L.P”. Together R.E.D.D bring a wall of sound, struggle, wisdom and hunger. Relatively new to the industry they are just starting to move away from “local” status and have nowhere to go but up. Now That they have grown and learned a lot they have released a new album on April 14th 2017 called “The Next Chapter”. With the fan base that was built and how it keeps growing, R.E.D.D is set to make the mark that they have worked hard for.
