The Curse (available monthly) (free) was lifted from fine establishments in Williamsburg, Brooklyn New York from 1994 -2000. It was a collection of stories and information and poems and happenings and realizations. Periods of fun, confusion, elation, dellusion etc

There were regular contributions from our London Correspondent: Kath Campbell as well as advice from Auntie Flo (who came to visit fro

m time to time), I [Heart] Lucy (or How Girls Work) as well as a Shopping List (usually records and books) and advice and tips (but not the Cosmopolitan magazine type thing)

Some people included are names you might know - Sally Timms (Mekons), Richard Hell (and the Voidoids), Legs McNeill (PUNK magazine), Victoria Williams (singer), Michael Hurley (singer), Spike Vrusho (author and baseball expert), Joe Maynard (poet and musician), Mike Topp (my favourite poet), Sparrow (my favourite poet) (yes, I have two favourite poets) and local neighbourhood folk. Regulars and irregulars alike, took the zine home so they could enjoy their bleedin' day. I answer questions. Question: Was it a feminist thing? Daisy: No, it was a feminine product.
