Sarah’s feature/interview is great and worth the read - and you better believe I got a little bit misty-eyed at that shoutout. Sarah and I have been working together on music for somewhere around 4 years now. She’s the artist who took a risk and let me work on a genre of music that I had basically no prior work in. 4 years later it’s almost all that I do. It’s release day for this new bop! It’s basically the sonic equivalent of rolling the windows down and driving into the sunset. and produced this one (and did an incredible job), and I got to mix/master (or as Nick would say, “you put chorus and saturation on everything”). Also releasing this past weekend, a lovely tune by the incredible ! I loved mixing this song. I’m pretty sure it holds the record for most times a song has made me go “wooooooooooo!” while listening to it. 😂 It somehow manages to be groovy, epic, and psychedelic all in one song. And I’m just going to go ahead and say that the drop from the second chorus into the bridge is a moment where dreams really do come true.

Almost exactly 2 years ago I was standing in St. Patrick’s Cathedral in the heart of NYC. I grabbed a quick voice memo so I could remember what it sounded like being there, and thought maybe someday I could use it in a song...time flies I guess. Tonight I’ll use it as my starting point of inspiration, and I’m going to write a song live on Twitch. I’ll get started at 7PM CST and we’ll just see where it goes from there. I miss NYC and it’s heartbreaking to know all of the grief and suffering going on there right now. But I’m also thinking about the next time I’ll be able to stand there and soak it all in ❤️. Hey there friends, the first single from the new record released today. It was a blast to produce/write instrumentation and mix this song. It’s my favorite thing I’ve ever gotten to work on with Stephen, and there’s a full album coming your way soon with some great vibes on it.

As per usual, the drum work of .n.rich is crispy and delicious, like a piece of flyrite chicken. And the master by sounds warm and huge, like Santa’s coat. (I’m really killing it on these metaphors) I’m so grateful to get to be a part of things like this. And I’d be honored if you would check it out and share it!

After we released our Christmas single on noisetrade, noisetrade then contacted us and said they’d like to feature us on the "new and notable" section. For us, this is a really exciting opportunity. It would be giving us the potential to reach 1.6 million new people via their newsletter and be featured on the front page of their site for the entire week of Dec 20-27.

Why does this matter?

Our heart for what we do is so much more than the music, but at the same time, it’s all about the music. We desperately want to bridge the gap between culture and Christ.
