Peace in the Storm

Hey, friend. I know the world feels heavy right now. So much division, so much uncertainty, so much noise. But can I remind you of something? God is still in control.

“He changes times and seasons; He removes kings and sets up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding.” – Daniel 2:21

Nothing happening today is a surprise to Him. No election, law, or cultural shift can override His perfect plan. So take a deep breath. Rest in His peace.

Instead of worrying, let’s pray. Instead of arguing, let’s love. Instead of focusing on fear, let’s stand firm in faith.

God is faithful. He is still moving. He is still working all things for good. Keep your eyes on Jesus—our true and lasting hope.

Hey, God’s Divine Designs!

I need you to hear this loud and clear: You were created ON purpose and FOR purpose. There is something uniquely you that this world desperately needs—a gift, a talent, a calling that only you can fulfill.

Maybe fear has held you back. Maybe doubt has whispered lies in your ear, saying, “You’re not good enough” or “It’s too late.” But let me remind you today of what God says:

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” – Ephesians 2:10

Sis, the plans He has for you are already laid out—your job is to take the first step! You don’t have to have it all figured out. God’s not asking for perfection; He’s asking for your YES.

Your calling might be raising amazing children, starting that business, leading in ministry, mentoring others, or creating art that inspires. Whatever it is, it matters. It’s valuable. And it’s time to stop playing small.

Let this be the day you silence the doubts, shake off the excuses, and say, “God, I’m ready to step into everything You’ve called me to be.”

Remember, someone’s breakthrough is tied to your obedience. Don’t hold back. You’ve got this, and most importantly, God’s got YOU!

My Dearly Beloved,

I see your hearts, full of love and wonder, as you prepare to celebrate this special time of year. Christmas is more than lights, gifts, and traditions—it is a reminder of the greatest gift I have ever given: My Son, Jesus Christ. In Him, you find salvation, hope, and peace beyond understanding.

Let this season be a time for you to reflect on the love that came down to dwell among you. Remember that Jesus, My Son, came not in grandeur but in humility, born in a manger, to show you that My grace reaches all people—no matter their status, background, or struggles.

As you gather with family and friends, let your joy flow from gratitude for the gift of Emmanuel—“God with us.” Share love freely, just as I have lavished My love upon you. Forgive as you have been forgiven. Help those in need, for when you do, you reflect My heart.

Do not let the world’s distractions pull you away from the true meaning of this celebration. While gifts and traditions are beautiful, they are not the reason for your joy. The true beauty of Christmas lies in remembering the miracle of the Savior who came to redeem you, so you might have abundant and eternal life.

Keep your focus on the Light of the world, My Son, who dispels all darkness. Sing songs of praise, read My Word, and let the message of Christ’s birth fill your hearts and homes.

I love you with an everlasting love. As you celebrate this Christmas, let your lives be a testament to that love—a light shining brightly in the world for all to see.

Prayer:

Just a brief scroll through social media confirms for me why I would not schedule an appointment with one of these hair stylist out of town on social media. From what I’ve seen , most of these women lack professionalism and customer service skills. They have so much money and so many people trying to get what they see posted on social media that they feel like they can be dismissive of people’s time and money. Somebody needs to remind them that integrity and character are still important values. That G-wagon and LV bag is gonna need replacing and you can’t treat people like they are disposable and think you can sustain that lifestyle forever.

This peace is not something we can find in the world; it is a divine gift that calms our hearts and minds, even in the midst of life’s challenges. The early hours, often filled with stillness and reflection, are an invitation to connect with this peace, to let it wash over us, and to release any fears or anxieties we may hold.

As we contemplate the blessings in our lives, we can see how God’s peace has been woven into our experiences, guiding us and providing comfort. This peace reassures us that no matter what we face, we are never alone. It is a peace rooted in the assurance of God’s unwavering love and faithfulness. It’s easy to equate material success with being blessed, but the Bible teaches us that true blessings are often found in our spiritual growth and our relationship with God. Jesus said in Matthew chapter five that the blessed are the poor in spirit, those who mourn, the meek, those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, the merciful, the pure in heart, the peacemakers, and those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake. These blessings are about our character and our standing with God, not just our material possessions. How do you think we can better focus on these true blessings in our daily lives?
