No matter where you fall on the spectrum of belief in a Creator, his depth of knowledge of both theology and science strikes a beautiful balance in forming the questions we should all be asking ourselves to come to a rational conclusion.

My daughter and I were honored to be able to represent by attending a 2nd grade Author Fair recently, where GTP's very own author Tasha Eizinger ran a publishing workshop.

What a treat to see how inspired a group of second grade authors and illustrators who, in just a few weeks' time, had produced their own illustrated picture books, with pagination, copyright page, acknowledgement page, "About the Author" page, and stories with full creative elements that build intrigue and draw the readers in. What an extra surprise to see they created their own marketing posters and also were available to each read their literary works of art. Fantastic job, Young Authors and Mishawaka Catholic School teachers! And well done, Tasha Harper Eizinger The Little Shot for encouraging the next generation of dreamers and authors/illustrators! This publisher's heart was beaming...and still is!

Why am I so excited, do you ask?

1. Because sometime later today...a very special book goes up on Amazon in its new Kindle format, AND

2. Behind the scenes of series, we are fine-tuning the storyboard for Book 4. It's amazing! Our illustrator is hard at work rolling in the gorgeous backdrop to this phenomenal story! Wait till you see the new hues! So pumped!!!!

Unpacked my office boxes, and there she is…Book 3 of ! In Book 1, she’s courageous; then she’s humbled in Book 2…and now she is experiencing personal growth (as am I, her relocated publisher)! Hanging my beautiful shooting star friend up on my wall to remind me that life is a journey, we can shoot for our goals, but we also must remember who came alongside us along the way and pay it forward. Yokwe ("Hello"/"Greetings") from the Republic of the Marshall Islands!

Ground Truth Press is up and running again after a huge move. Now on the other side of the International Dateline and, depending on Daylight Savings Time, we are 16 to 17 hours ahead of EST. Based out of South Dakota in the States, but functioning in real-time in the Republic of the Marshall Islands for a few years. Here are the new hours and how they match up with EST.

SCHEDULING: Calls and video consults can be set up during daytime hours, but most GTP work will take place after 3 PM (RMI time) and on weekends.

**At the current moment, Ground Truth Press regrettably cannot accept new clients but will update here when the schedule is free again.**

Please join me in welcoming my newest hire, W. Christopher Smith, at Ground Truth Press as a Proofreader. A software engineer by day, Christopher is a gifted writer with a keen interest in theology. He brings fluency in multiple languages, including Latin, and has completed his Ground Truth Press training on the importance of author voice, genre-specific proofing, layout issues, and consistency/clarity concerns. In a few years, he aims to take on a more client-facing role, but for now, he is filling a great need here at Ground Truth Press part-time, and we are so grateful for him!
