The opening and closing soundtrack of Ten Tamanga Street - a new TV show predicted to become the next “darling” for many audiences; on Zambezi Magic Tv was produced by Vakwatu Productions under the leadership of Morgan Kapyala Phiri “the Sydnicate” featuring the talented
Sir Jones Kabanga, a true zambian music legend and vocals of the beautiful multitalented actress and singer Marie M. Ndhlovu destined to be one of Zambia’s upcoming vocal sensation: A real artist in the making.
The producers of Ten Tamanga Street went on a quest to search for the perfect soundtrack for this amazing story and approached Morgan “the Syndicate” who designed and developed the “Run to survive” anthem.
“Tamanga” is a term we use for hustle, from this word alone, we find ourselves feeling energetic as we play the Kalindula guitar which is a Zambian driven instrument. “ says Morgan “the syndicate” with a smile while playing the captivating ZAM ROCK inspired song with its enchanting female chants performed by the sensational Marie M. Ndlovu an actress herself.
“It truly feels like a befitting leading song for this family social story, it’s as if it brings the feeling of fate -like higher powers at play here. “ adds Morgan.
Derrick Aston Kapungwe, Creative Producer of Ten Tamanga Street adds on and says “ this song brings out the mystery, tension and thrill that is about to ensure in Ten Tamanga Street and I know it feels like a song that calls all of us to action: to hustle and survive, to tamanga”
With all these key elements in the theme song setting the tone for the visual interpretation and genre, enters Isaiah Kaku Kapalala, born on March 18, 1996, in the Copperbelt Province of Zambia.
He is the one responsible for building and developing the Ten Tamanga street graphic opening sequence (OTS): celebrating various family and social elements.
Kaku grew up fascinated by animation and graphic design, spending most of his free time drawing and experimenting with computer software. As he got older, Isaiah knew that he wanted to pursue a career in the creative arts, and so he embarked on a journey of acquiring more knowledge and understanding of graphics.
Isaiah has worked as a freelance graphic designer for several years while also honing his skills as an animator and CGI artist.
He ,working with Frank Sibukku designed the beautiful Mpali OTS and Kaku uses his spare time to learn new techniques and software programs, slowly building up an impressive portfolio of work that caught the attention of a few local production companies.
With his reputation as a skilled animator and CGI artist growing, Isaiah soon found himself working on larger and more complex projects, from music videos to feature films. He is known for his attention to detail and his ability to create stunning and engaging visuals that bring stories to life.
Over time, Isaiah expanded his skill set to include other aspects of post-production work, such as color grading and online editing. This versatility allows him to take on more projects and collaborate with a broader range of creatives.
Today, Isaiah Kaku Kapalala continues to work as an animator, CGI artist, and graphic designer, taking on projects across various industries. He remains passionate about his craft and is always looking for new ways to push the boundaries of animation and visual storytelling.
