Air Jordan 13 “Black/University Blue”

Set to drop for adults and kids, the unreleased pair maintains a color-blocking with which the silhouette debuted 25 years ago. Nocta x Nike Air Force 1 “Certified Lover Boy” Coming to the Holiday season!
It’s been over an entire year since Drake first dropped “Certified Lover Boy.” And while we’ve enjoyed a few releases of the NOCTA x Nike Hot Step Air Terra since, there’s been little word from the artist’s previously-teased Air Force 1. But after much anticipation, it was revealed that the sneaker — which commemorates the aforementioned album — would finally be seeing a release this Holiday Season.

Detailed images surfaced in conjunction with the news, better showcasing the “Triple White” colorway’s more unique, Drake-inspired details. Alongside incorporating the NOCTA logo atop the heel, the shoe features “Love You Forever” across both the midsole as well as the box. The rest of the construction is extremely understated, with white neutrals dressing everything from the tumbled leather upper to the adjacent laces and lining.

Air Jordan 1 Mid “Purple Mocha” coming soon!
The Jordan team over in Beaverton never seems to run out of propositions for its heralded Air Jordan 1 silhouette. As evident by its weekly processions and ever-disparate color combinations, the latest Jordan 1 Mid extends the “Purple Mocha” scheme recently employed unto the grade school-exclusive Air Jordan 1 Low.

Centered around a smooth black leather base, the mudguard, quarter and heel overlays render a chocolate brown hue in a darkened contrast fit with the typical black trefoil insignia placed along the heel. Applying a titular accent, vibrant violets fill the interior sock and tongue liner, the model’s laces and midfoot Checks all while sitting atop a clad white midsole and mocha-sampled tread.

Awake NY x ASICS GEL-Lyte III - 3 x Pack

AWAKE NY has been crafting covetable sneaker collaborations for quite a few years now, from a set of GEL-Kayano 5 360s to a wide range of Reebok classics. And following quite a few months since their last effort, the streetwear label is rejoining ASICS for a trio of GEL-LYTE III colorways.

Similar to their previous work with the Japanese footwear brand, the AWAKE name is printed right onto the heel of all three GEL-LYTE IIIs. In addition, Angelo Baque and team have played around with the shoe’s Tiger Stripe, rendering it entirely see-through. What’s more, a dark netting has been inserted across the mid-panel as well as just under the heel tab, the latter of which sports a silver metallic finish on each colorway. Elsewhere, though, the pairs differ across their suede overlays and nylon base, opting for either Tan and Blue, Purple and Black, or Green and Cream palettes.

Air Jordan 2 Craft “Sunset Haze”

The Air Jordan 2 has had a prolonged moment in the spotlight, a feat that was put into motion thanks to an Off-White collaboration in late 2021. And while the end of 2022 is still months away, rumors of a “Sunset Haze” style of the model’s Craft version have recently surfaced.

Akin to Craft iterations of classic Nike Sportswear offerings, the newly-surfaced retro is expected to indulge in a higher-than-usual mix of materials across its upper and sole unit. The majority of the second Air Jordan‘s top-half is believed to boast a clean “Sail” look that sets the stage for darker “Sunset Haze” and “Desert” tones, the former animating the scale-like pattern wrapped around the sneaker’s mid-foot and heel. Branding on the tongue opts for a brown makeover as do the inner-lining and spines, while structural components around the heel and midsoles favor an “aged” aesthetic reminiscent of the shoes referenced by the late Virgil Abloh for last year’s Air Jordan 2 Low duo.

Nike Dunk High “Chenille”

A clean varsity jacket look has purveyed through Nike Basketball’s most heralded models from the 1980s. Dunks and Air Force 1s have appeared with enlarged Swoosh logos covered in chenille, a common sighting on patches for team athletes, while the arranged colorways refer to teams of the past.

This upcoming release sees the classic Pine Green look adorned with the big Swoosh in a sail white, while a black leather is utilized as the base. With the gum sole, mimicking the hardwood floors of a court, these Dunk High's are giving off Michigan Spartan vibes, matching the earlier Dunk High Retro release affiliated with the athletic program.

Nike Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT “Washed Blue” 2022

Since debuting in 2020, the Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT has been ridiculed by some sneaker purists for not following the exact specifications of Michael Jordan’s first signature sneaker. Yet, countless collectors of all degrees and ages have added the Zoom Air-cushioned update to their rotations. Ahead of Spring 2022, the silhouette has emerged in a compelling “Washed Blue” colorway reportedly exclusive to women.

As with other iterations of the ultra-comfortable Air Jordan 1, the newly-surfaced pair features recessed profile swooshes and an exposed foam collar. Tongue, ankle panels and mid-foot underlays all indulge in shades of light brown, setting the stage for the medley of blue tones that animates much of the forefoot and heel overlays. Suede material around the toe, ankle and heel boast the titular “Washed Blue” hue that creates an arrangement reminiscent of the highly-popular Jordan 1 “Hyper Royal” that dropped in April 2021. Perhaps to drive the point home that the retro will only arrive in women’s sizes, hits of a purplish pink animate quarter panels and tread underfoot.

Nike Air Force 1 Experimental "Glow"

Bruce Kilgore’s Nike Air Force 1 has done a lot since debuting in 1982. As it inches closer to its 40th anniversary, the model has appeared in some of the most jarring styles yet, with a newly-surfaced all-black Experimental-variant being the latest example.

While a newer update to the basketball-classic, the Air Force 1 Experimental has quickly made a statement with its eyebrow-raising design. Seemingly covered in an industrial, haphazardly-applied tape, the model features an upper full of creases and unrefined edges. Profile swooshes, toe boxes and other components of the 39-year-old silhouette are barely discernible. Instead, untraditional lace toggles, pull tabs on the exposed foam tongue and heel and labels at the lower heel steal the spotlight. The latest N.354 proposition maintains a predominantly dark color palette, but some of the aforementioned details indulge in varying shades of green. None, however, feature the “glow-in-the-dark” finish found across the outsole.

UNDEFEATED x Vault By Vans OG Old Skool LX ‘U-Man’
The first occasion that UNDEFEATED and Vans first teamed up was back in 2007 where both parties launched a special Sk8-Hi capsule that highlighted Geoff McFetridge’s “U-Man” insignia. The logo became a staple of the streetwear brand and was originally created around the time that UNDEFEATED opened its LA-based flagship on La Brea in 2002. Fast forward 15 years later from its original team-up the two giants are bringing new life to the “U-Man” icon by lending it to a trio of Vault by Vans OG Old Skool LX colorways.

Air Jordan 12 "Royalty"

Jordan Brand revisits one of the most popular and recognizable original Air Jordan colorways of all time, but with an added twist that adds a subtle touch of regal luxury. The Air Jordan 12 “Royalty” draws strong comparisons to 1997’s “Taxi” release by keeping with the same white leather upper and faux-lizard textured mudguard.

What’s missing is the hit of Taxi Yellow on the heel racing stripe and the exposed carbon fiber plate at the mid-foot, as well as the red Jumpman logo that sits at the toe. While the golden eyelets by the ankle are true to the original, Jordan Brand swaps out the mid-foot piece to a matching gilded plate for further touch on the “Royalty” moniker.

Jordan Brand confirms that the shoes will come with an extra set of white laces, OG-style shoebox packaging, and full family sizing. And while the brand hasn’t corroborated just yet, the tentative release date is November 12th, 2021.

Price tag will be 190 USD.

Union Los Angeles x Air Jordan 2 "Grey Fog"

Set to drop alongside a “Rattan” colorway that’s yet to be officially revealed, the Union x Air Jordan 2 “Grey Fog” pairs sport a light grey nylon and suede upper with light blue piping accents. Perforations are added to the laterals, and bright yellow “UNION LA” tags decorate the eye stays while a retro-style identification tag rests on the ankle collar. An exposed foam tongue, co-branded tongue tags, bright yellow in-soles, and crisp white sole units below complete the look. In addition to the sail laces displayed in the images above, alternate lacing options are also available in white and yellow.

The Union x Air Jordan 2 sneakers are set to release in Spring 2022 at Nike’s website and select retailers for $225 USD.

adidas YEEZY 1050 "Hi-Res" is out in December 2021!

First spotted on Ye‘s feet during the first DONDA album listening party earlier this year, the adidas Yeezy 1050 “Hi-Res” is set to release before the end of the year.
The high-top pairs feature orange textured nylon mesh uppers with a beige tongue section fitted with a single-zipper lacing system. Below, a thick and rugged rubber sole unit extends upwards towards the heel where Continental branding is found.

Vans x Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) Collection 2021
Vans and the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) have recently announced the second collection of their partnership.

Inspired by the only artist-founded museum in Los Angeles’ home state, the latest capsule includes artwork from California-based artists Judy Baca, Brenna Youngblood and Frances Stark. Comprising of the Sk8-Hi, Slip-On and Authentic, the multi-shoe and apparel lineup nods to SoCal culture, sport and geography. Vibrant red, yellow and green appear alongside muted grey, white and black, delivering compelling “wearable art.” Each artist leaves their personal touch on their creation, be it embroidered names or catchphrases. Some of the artwork brought to footwear form consists of “The Great Wall of Los Angeles” (1974-1984), “Hitting the Wall, Women in the Marathon” (1984), among others. As the Anaheim-based actions ports brand has been doing since 1966, MOCA’s latest collaboration champions California and all it offers.

Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1 “Cactus Jack”

Hot off the heels of an energetic Rolling Loud performance, Travis Scott is ready to kick off Astroweek. And if everything is to proceed on schedule, something big will be going down today and tomorrow courtesy of Cactus Jack x Nike.

Upon announcement, the sneaker community was in a frenzy as multiple SNKRS Pass releases were said to be going down throughout the week-long event. That claim seems to be holding true as two colorways of the Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1 were loaded onto the app’s backend this morning. If you’re fortunate enough to attend “Space Village,” you can expect a chance at both the “Saturn Gold” and “Baroque Brown” pairs, both of which feature earth tones, an ACG-inspired lacing system, and the artist’s signature backwards Swoosh.

If you won’t be attending Astroweek, don’t worry. The “Travis Scott Air Max 1 Saturn Gold” and “Travis Scott Air Max 1 Baroque Brown” will see a wider release alongside PS and TD sizes December 16th.
