APPEAL: Appeal following off road bike disorder in Barnsley
We’re appealing for information to help us identify a large group of off-road bike riders who are alleged to have descended upon Barnsley, causing significant damage and anti-social behaviour.
We have released images as it is believed those photographed can assist us with our enquiries.
Yesterday, Sunday 14 April, just before 5pm, we received reports of around 15 off-road bikers around the Barnsley Road area of Cudworth causing damage to street furniture, obstructing drivers on the road, and driving in a dangerous and anti-social manner.
A further report alleged that the offenders caused damage to the Victoria Pub.
Upon officers’ arrival, the off-road bikers are believed to have become abusive and threatening. One off-road biker rammed a police vehicle with his quad bike, causing damage.
Neighbourhood Inspector Rebecca Richardson tells more on our website- https://orlo.uk/HFkZd
