Sent by a fan of Chris Kennedy's to our email.
Goodmorning,
Back in 1986 I was a foreign exchange student at Vintage High school. I had the privilege of meeting Chris through mutual friends. Finn Jensen, Aaron Sorensen, Mike Poli, Jeni Jensen, Russell Hosking. A lot of people knew him. At one time my friend Finn asked me if I wanted to go to the So tour of Peter Gabriel in SF. Together with him and Chris, I remembered the beautiful face of Chris when I saw him for the first time, I really loved his smile he could light up a room with his smile. I was the only girl allowed to go with Finn and Chris and I thought that was fantastic! I felt special, a girl from the Netherlands is the only girl allowed to come along with these great guys, loved it. The concert was amazing, we had a wonderful and for me a unforgettable evening. The song Sledgehammer was one of the songs Peter Gabriel performed. I still love the song. It always brings me back to the wonderful memory of Chris Kennedy.
He died way too soon, but I do know he made every second last when he was alive and he lived his life to the fullest.
Chris people will always remember your beautiful smile, your kindness and your love for music. You will never be forgotten and cherished in our hearts forever. May you rest in peace and listen to your favorite music in heaven.
All the love from the Netherlands.
Love,
Ingrid Wagemans 💖💖💖
