Yesterday, July 26, SPCP teachers received comprehensive training on using SCUOLA interactive playboards following the school's recent acquisition of ten 86-inch units. Sister Bernadette Padawel, SPC, the school directress and principal, addressed the faculty, expressing her confidence that these advanced technological tools will make classes more interactive and effective. NEWS: Sr. Elsie Aque, SPC, welcomed back with a birthday surprise

On May 13, 2024, teachers and students celebrated Sr. Elsie Aque, SPC's birthday, feast day, and silver jubilee upon her return from her 40-day renewal retreat in Antipolo.

The celebration began with the student body, led by Coleen De Leon, singing "Happy Birthday" to Sister Elsie. Following this, CLVE teachers Ms. Bandola, Mr. Bombita, Mr. Dungo, Ms. Napoles, and Ms. Tejoso surprised her with a performance of "Top of the World" by the Carpenters.

Heart Recto then serenaded Sister Elsie with “Our Lady of Fatima,” while grade school students presented her with gifts and flowers. The celebration continued with Ms. Aborido and Ms. Bandaño performing their rendition of “That’s The Way It Is” by Celine Dion, as the SCC presented their gifts. The event concluded with the entire student body serenading Sister Elsie once more as she was presented with a cake and candles.

Sister Elsie thanked the administration and the Student Council for arranging the surprise. She remarked, "I am speechless," adding that she was "glad to be back because it is always good to be here in St. Paul." She also expressed her appreciation for the past 25 years as she celebrates her silver jubilee, stating, "I am honored to be with you, Paulinians, as I celebrate my 25 years."

NEWS: Bulungan area fire victims received donations from the Paulinian community

36 families that were affected by the recent fire at the Bulungan area received support from the Paulinian community last May 15 through the Student Coordinating Council’s (SCC) ‘Kapit-Bisig Paulinians' advocacy in partnership with the Community Extension (CES) program of St. Paul College of Parañaque.

“Kindness is a language of love,” is the last phrase by which the Student Coordinating Council (SCC) had reached out to the Paulinian community asking for donations for the victims of the recent fire at the Bulungan Area. While they requested all students to bring a kilogram of rice (1kg), Paulinians also gave extra donations such as canned goods, clothes, books, and toys.

After collating said donations, the SCC and CES wasted no time in getting aid to those in need.
