Farewell old friend 😔💔 We’ve been dreading this day since you were first diagnosed almost six years ago. When it finally came on Thursday I thought I was prepared for it but I’m not and I thought I would have the words but I don’t … yet. Since the days when we walked home from school together in 1978 you have been not only a best mate but a hero and a true inspiration to me, especially over these last few devastating years. We’ll meet again a little further down the line and maybe we can start a fanzine ‘up there’ ☝️ but for now, rest in peace bud, I’ll never forget you. 😘
